If it was a controller-based game, then Yes, it is generic. But it's a Kinect game, so it's reviewed on a different level. That in itself could be an interesting article: should Kinect games be held to a different standard in terms of gameplay and graphics?
I'm not sure what more you'd want me to say about the game. I read other reviews from "bigger" sites that said much less.
And I did mention the power ups and the brightly colored icons. I guess you missed that part.
True they are very different, the only thing in common is the release date, and for many reviewers, they will have just finished Deus Ex and then turned to Bodycount... so the comparisons are inevitable. Game publishers should take that into account.
It's a good article if you bother to read it. He attended the Halo panel at PAX and came away with new feelings on the game.
Can't say without it being a SPOILER!
And over the past three years of posting articles to N4G, I've learned to love each and every one of you.
Fixed. No more spoilers unless you want it.
I'll go ahead and make the changes. But you really didn't have to call me stupid. That's just stupid.
Sorry for the potential spoiler, but it's an article that wasn't online yet and people were searching for it. For some, you probably hate me, for others, you're thanking me.
As for those who are reporting this article as Lame, well, that's your opinion, but it shouldn't stop this article from being approved.
Yeah, I'm standing by the B+ for now. A+ would be a perfect game with no room for improvement. While this game is very good, it's not perfect.
yep. $15 is a good price point for Saw II.
I didn't like Dragon Rising. But in the interview, he kinda implies they dumbed the game down to fit a wider audience.
That does sound like a good idea to do a sequel game that follows the plot of the movie to follow up on the prequel of the game to the movie. And then another game to show plot points that happens after the movie.
I see Redboxes all the time. I should check one out and see what games they have.
Can't wait until Google TV has apps.
LA Noire is a game that you interactively watch. It's a nice change of pace that can be played episodically alongside different genres, like say, Dead Space 2 or any FPS.
I gotta try this game. Just to see what all the talk is about.
I was disappointed to read how Kinect Star Wars is kind of a bomb.
Yeah, the Vita is basically a console wrapped into a handheld, and it's cheaper than some models of the Touch.
That's debatable about playing in the dark. Kinect was having a hard time seeing me when I had the lights low. When I turned on an extra light, suddenly the controls worked much better. When I turned the lights low again, yes, it still worked, but not nearly as well.
As for the leg, it's a matter of semantics.
