Great price for a great console, if your in the market for a blu-ray player, you can't go wrong with a PS3.
The blade is such a nice machine but sooo expensive.
Oh Sun...do you ever learn?
The difference between this and GTA 4 graphicsm on the same hardware is amazing.
great xmas present, have fun!
Vita games will be perfect because of the tiny little boxes, wrapped up someone would think its a bar of chocolate.
yes, just yes!
Yeah I mean the FPS XCOM that was announced a while back but then got delays and multiple development problems, I know Enemy unknown came out, seemed like a great game too, need to play the full thing (only played the demo on PC)
It's a shame, I'm loving it so far, really great sense of survival, good use of the game pad and quite a few jumpy moments. I do see their point though, some of it is a bit repetitive but overall a great game, Don't be put off by this score
Ok, be honest people, who clicked this because they saw just the "tiniest" hint of cleavage?......just a lil bit (cough cough)
From a marketing point of view that's what Nintendo wanted from that generation. This generation they are trying to reclaim some of their "hardcore" fan base but I don't think they will be as successful as Microsoft or Sony because of the 6-7 year lead on the "hardcore" market those companies have had.
The Japanese market likes their countries consoles as well as Japnese developed games e.g Playstation and Nintendo, Xbox 360 sales in Japan are practically non-existant.
XCOM is still a mystery, didn't development get put on hold for a while?
I think learning from their PC version last time will allow them to make a much better port to PC this time round, hopefully the engine and graphics will shine in Dark Souls 2
Probably to stick in amongst an entertainment centre cabinet beside an Xbox or TV box of some sort.

"It is without doubt that RAM or memory is about the most important item in a console."
This guy is clearly lost, the quality of this article is also very poor.
4gb would do, really 16gb ram for a console? Top high end PCs have 8-16gb RAM, RAM isn't everything, it mainly benefits multi-tasking, actual games only utilise about 2gb of this, anyways look at the quality of games being pumped out for PS3 with only 256mb, 256mb!!
Games like Journey and The Walking Dead that evoke emotion are the future
It would be good to use the game-pad for switching weapons in the traditional 4 way selection, as well as showing soul count and putting most of the HUD elements on the small screen, freeing up the big screen to stare at the awesome visuals and art of dark souls.

"Killzone: Shadow Fall, Sony's biggest AAA game for the PS4, sits at 75 on Metacritic with a user rating of 7.7.
ZombiU, Ubisoft's exclusive AAA launch title for the Wii U, sits at 77 on Metacritic with a user rating of 7.5."
Apparently this counts as murder now.
