There's always someone better than you, but it's pure art indeed!

There's an entire cult behing MH. Speed running is a mixture of both practicing and actually learning a lot about a monsters weaknessess to both weapon type and element.
Even here they made it more newcomer friendly, as you can now use the hunter's notes to see the best place to attack, with which weapon type and what element.

It could always be more newcomer friendly, but they've definitely upped their game.
IMO Monster Hunter throws a bunch of tutorial at you with the idea of "see what sticks". Now, that could be bad, if you actually needed all that information to fight the first giant monsters, but you don't need it all in RISE. That's what makes it newcomer friendly. Just see what sticks, use what you remember, once you get that down try a new move/feature. IMO that's the MH f...

I've got this game but I'm not sure if I would really recommend it.. When I played it, which was the week after its release, It suffered from a bunch of game breaking bugs. Seems like a lot of them were adressed so it might be a better experience now.

Apart from the bugs you were constantly harassed about needing food. The food doesn't last long enough to create a sort of stash. But, they adressed this as well.
There's not a lot of different enemies...

I think BotW did a good job at that though. I base that on the few gamers around me who bought & enjoyed the game even though they've never played a tLoZ game before in their lifes, so I can't really say if it's true or not.

Agree on the sequel, unless they add a widely wanted gimmick (or perhaps Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity will hype the story?) that draws the extra players I don't see how it'll sell more than BotW.

It would be so awesome if they made a remake and decided to add the removed/skipped third title to the Oracle series. Recently replayed them on a gameboy advanced sp, still worth it.

In case you didn't know, read the "The Triforce Series" chapter in this Link: https://zelda.gamepedia.com...

Would've liked for Nintendo to give updates regularly instead of dripfeeding. On the other hand I'm quite impatient and Nintendo going "Oh btw, tomorrow we'll release Breath of the Wild 2" is a blessing as I hate having to wait months for something I look forward to.

And even with the standard Nintendo dripfeeding I've still got a bunch of games I look forward to, to play in 2020:
Littlewood, Cadence of Hyrule (physical), Cris Tales, Windb...

That's the first time I've heard of it, but it looks pretty cool. Reminds me of a 3D version of tLoZ Oracle of Seasons.
Wonder how the gameplay & story is though, but I'll definitely keep a look out for this game!

Gotta say I'm pretty hyped for this one. First time I'm hearing about it, but it has loads of potential.

Apart from the clickbait title I got really excited reading the article. I was a huuuuge fan of 42 all time classics on the DS, so I've been wondering if I should buy this as well.
This article gave me the final push, I'm definitely gonna buy this. Those step by step tutorials of the games sound like a very nice way to learn those games that look interesting, but I could never figure out with the text based tutorials in the DS version.

Yeah I thought the same. I remember my managers saying we had to activate our camera in these Corona times when working from home, because "we'll have to see eachother to communicate properly". Now imagine that being a culture thing, I can imagine how hard it is to suddenly have to change that.

I've never been to Japan, but it's at the top of my bucket list. Gotta save up as I want to go there for a few months at least. Kawaii culture ftw!

It's more a culture thing. This is an interesting article to read:

"As a result of these factors, we may not be able to proceed with the release of Nintendo products and the start of services as planned."

...Start of services? Curious what that could be referring to.

I got absolutely hooked to the demo. Spent 4,5 hours playing.
It felt a bit slow at times (why does it take so long for a conversation to start after pressing the A button?), but the battle systeem was great.
Can't wait for the actual game, instant buy from me!

I've played the demo and it really feels like they've dumbed it down a Lot.
I'm really curious how the endgame dungeons hold up in difficulty. I couldn't beat one of them in the original, won't say the name to avoid spoilers...

Anyone who played this game and got to the endgame content? I'd like to know if they dumbed it down so much that it's basically a game that plays itself with you interacting once in a while, or that it actually ha...

Agreed. Let's hope it's got more depth than just hack 'n slash. Same goes for the puzzles... I can't remember the name of the game. It was such a promising game, but it turned out pretty aweful as the puzzles were just variations of "push this blok over there" and "hit that switch".

Pretty excited for this one, I'm digging the artstyle.
Here's hoping the battle system is any good.

Thanks for the information, I'm a new member :).

Too bad there's not really a solution to those clickbait titles then... Would've been nice to know if an article actually has substance or not.

I wanted to reply to you monkey602, but I don't see a reply option?

Anyway, you got a fair point. Perhaps it can be used as a form of precaution? I.e. don't remove or hide the post, just let it be there as a reminder that X people didn't like the article.

I'm glad n4g created a poll on opinion pieces, perhaps the answer is somewhere within that poll.

I wish we could vote on articles like we can vote on comments, that way I would know for sure whether or not it's a bad read.

I'll take your word for it now, saves me a click :).

The too long didn't read part couldn't be posted as the limit of 4000 characters was reached (even though the total was 3605 characters long).

tl;dr
