@MarkyMark89
I don't understand the argument you're trying to make. What is the "other half of the picture" that I'm not talking about? The money Sony and MS make off of a console purchase is irrelevant to me as a consumer.
And what you're describing in $1.4-$2k for an initial setup and "pennies on everything else" aside from a $500 GPU upgrade is:
1 - Untrue. Essential PC components are nowhere near close to p...
@shuvam09
I don't think there's any way you can spin GPU expenditure as a better deal than buying consoles, even if you already have a high-end PC and that's the only thing needed to swap out. You still needed to spend a lot more for the setup.
If all you want is gaming, spending $400-600 on a console for ~7 years (XB1 released in 2013) worth of gaming is pretty darn cheap.
I'm pretty sure that each time a new console is released, there is already a much faster GPU on market. This isn't out of the normal. The rate of developing new GPUs is much faster than the development of consoles.
Even in current and past generations, many Xbox exclusives were also on PC and MS would promote both. Their strategy makes no sense.
I really don't understand why MS would even want Halo: Infinite to be on Xbox One.
MS has always had a weird strategy when it comes to their consoles. Do they want people to purchase their newest console or not?
I never saw the appeal in Flight Simulator but have friends that really enjoy it. I personally may not put much time into it but I appreciate the achievements this game has reached in being a simulator. If this game isn't for you, move along. There's no need to take a second and give some unnecessary criticism.
@King_Noctis
Oh, I'm not surprised, but I'll continue to point out how illogical the majority of N4G users are in an effort to maybe get some people to be better.
What's up with the downvotes? It's on Game Pass. That's a fact.
Bummer, but glad they did this. In an ideal world, it would be available at console launch but I'd rather they don't rush it.
Yeah I could see that. I tend to play catch-up on the things that people have already experienced and it can be a bit less exciting.
Early buyers of any new gen console get the biggest shaft. Highest price point, highly likely to have issues, and weaker than any new version that comes out. Wish Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo would come up with ways for the most loyal fans to feel rewarded for jumping on early.
Coming from a thief, your comment is irrelevant.
Yeah, I'm sure you have no friends since you're well aware of how much of an A-hole you are. Probably "proud" of that too huh? Too bad you can't torrent friends.
What a clever, troll comment. Also, it's an unnecessary comparison to an unreleased game.
I hope it was cut because it's an old game. I don't know if the main drive for people to buy the console is enhanced old games, but I want to see stuff that I can't play on my Xbox One.
Looking forward to it, and to finally hear some real information on Halo Infinite. I'm afraid the title alone means the game is straying far away from the predecessors, possibly as an online only (Fortnite monetization strategy) game. I hope I'm wrong!
Sony PlayStation’s Visual Arts Services Group
Anyone on LinkedIn can see it.
It's not a secret studio. Anyone who lives in SoCal and works in the game industry knows they're there lol.
@tontontam0
I was talking about all versions of PSP. Why do I need to specify? Geez, you guys are trying really hard to see whether I'm actually a Playstation fan huh? I had a PSP and it was decent. I mostly played PS games on it but Criss Core was amazing. I didn't have a Vaio because it didn't have that many games. I tried PSVR but it was terrible, especially after using the Vive.
Sony handhelds were basically participants in competing with ...
Glad to hear it's just cosmetic stuff so far. Hopefully, it stays that way.
Wow, that is way cheaper than I expected, especially for a brand new console. I'm not a fan of digital only but the price actually makes it very compelling.
