I’ll be honest, I haven’t played Death Stranding. Doesn’t appeal to me at all but I’ll take your word that Kojima brought something new to the table.
Agreed, can’t remember the last time I played a new game with an innovative feature or mechanic. The whole ‘let’s make games like films’ has gone too far and needs reigning in.
Dammit, literally just finished replaying it to get all the runes. One of my favourite games of the previous gen.
They’ll probs be focusing on their 2021 lineup and new game pass titles. Hopefully we’ll see one of the above but it’s wishful thinking IMO.
If all you care about is graphics then maybe you should move on from gaming. The success of a game is how fun it is to play, not how pretty it looks.

While it’s clear by your comment that you’re in love with a console manufacturer, I don’t know where the “Sony looking out for devs” theory comes from. I’m pretty sure no one forced Bloober to put the Medium on game pass.
Some yes, for others it’s just unnecessary. It shouldn’t just be shoehorned into every game. I can imagine it being effective in the medium though.
Why would people be unsubscribing now though? The 100+ million PS4 owners haven’t gone anywhere.
It could just be an anomaly. It could be that people are subscribing to other platforms. It way too early to tell of course but interesting to see if the trend continues.

As others have said above, they’re probably not pushing to tech in an attempt to penetrate that f2p market by making it as accessible to play as possible.

Jade Empire is a classic IMO, wish they would bring it to Xbox gamepass. It’s on PC gamepass but doesn’t seem to run on windows 10 😢
