In fact the more people you have on your team the more enemies you have to fight for Control Points. Honestly before they patched it I had taken a Control Point with two friends and we had rocket launcher enemies and just swarms of other enemies firing at us. It felt like an epic drawn out battle. When I went back into solo it hadn't saved it. I did it again solo and it went much quicker and the enemy variety wasn't as great.
Even standard missions will throw a lot ...
Polygon makes the same complaint in that preview too. They all seem to be a race for the bottom. It's why I never trust any of them for reviews anymore. I look at the games for myself and decide for myself.

Nope. Polygon dropped this garbage in their article about it too.
"In the last few years, the fashion has moved away from overly familiar pissed-off mid-30s white-man protagonists. A young woman is the star of The Last of Us Part 2. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey featured a woman as an (optional) protagonist. Gears 5 will star a woman. Even Battlefield 5 made the effort to subvert narrative shooter protagonist norms.
HE MEANS TO BITE BACK
Sony Ben...
The gameplay itself is great. The big problems were definitely the connectivity and server issues which are being addressed for the full game. If they can launch it smoothly then I think people will see how much fun it is too play.
Yeah I kept restarting all of them until I had them down cold. Even the final one I did have a couple of screw-ups but I still managed to squeak out the gold. I really enjoyed the challenges though but the one that frustrated me the most was the 70,000 point combat one. After I got the gold on that one I then realized it was the most difficult one.Still I kind of wish they would add in more just to do them as a side thing like how the Batman Arkham games had them set up.
My playthrough so far has been bug and glitch free. My son however encountered one. He webbed a guy to a door way during a fight just as the door was opening to let more enemies in. One got stuck when the door shut but kept showing his face trying to run in. MY son was able to still hit him and got through the mission.
Yeah they are getting slammed. That's what happens when you release first before the embargo ended.
They announced plans to do DLC back in April when the release date was revealed and pre-orders became available. They didn’t start working on the DLC until after the game went Gold a month ago. So I’d say this is the perfect time to show a teaser. Might entice some people to get it and also know there will be new stuff to do just before RDR 2 comes out.
@Majin-vegeta The Collector’s Edition does include The City That Never Sleeps Initiative, which is the name for the DLC bundle. Granted it isn’t finished yet but those who bought that edition or the digital deluxe edition won‘t have to pay extra when they do release each of the three extra missions. Only those who got the standard edition have to pay more if they want the DLC.
It’s a very good month. Also Destiny 2 is already available to download for free for plus users.
@CarlDeChance I too would love to see any links they have to prove those claims. I see it all the time but no one ever gives us proof it had anything to do with the movies. I have however found this and it seems the deal was struck simply because Marvel wanted better publishing partners than in the past. https://venturebeat.com/201...
The last one could be Silver Sable but I am hoping it is Mysterio and the Title is a play on words.
According to Marvel we could be seeing multiple exclusive Spider-Man games. http://www.pushsquare.com/n... I really hope that we do get more since the creative director has said he has ideas of where they could go with a sequel.
They do own the IP but Microsoft has the publishing rights to the first game. That is why it's not on PC and won't be on PS4. It is also why a sequel hasn't happened yet. Insomniac wants to make one but MS doesn't want to publish it after the first one didn't generate that many sales and other publishers won't touch a sequel without the first game. It sucks but it does seem like they are on the verge to having their most successful game ever in Spider-Man.
Damn. And I thought I did pretty well when I played it. Nowhere near that level though.
Well at least we are getting New Game Plus. I really cannot wait to see what they do with it.
You can turn off the MP at anytime if you just want to run around solo.
It is a brand new update for PC, PS4, and XBOX One. Because it is a new release for XBOX it is on disc but PC and PS4 will have to download it. The update itself is free and it also won;t be the last update we see. In fact starting the week after they will start doing weekly community driven updates.
DC Universe Online also doesn't do crossplay between XBOX One and PC, but it does have crossplay between the PS3/PS4/and PC. The reason why is because Microsoft requires a Gold account to play it while it is Free to Play on PC and PS. There are other free to play MMOs on PC, PS, and XBOX that don't do crossplay and some do it for the same reason. Others don't do it because it would screw up the PC marketplace in those games.
I managed to solo a supply drop a couple of days ago and got all three chests. Granted I was level 18 but it can be done. The enemies only come in waves and can be cleared out. Just have to be able to focus on any that try to take a box. One group didn't even show up until after I had grabbed the first box. I grabbed the other two with no resistance after another fight.
