Looking forward to Psychonaunts 2 and 12 Minutes. I'll be purchasing them from Gamepass with my discount
Oh well!
Not really a big deal. I'm looking forward to playing this game tomorrow.
Quick Resume
I'm looking forward to playing through this game again! It's one of my favorite games. Loved the immersion.
Making a Great looking game look even better!
Can't wait for part 2
If the SSD that is running a game from the external overheats because it has no/not efficient heatsink it will effect the performance of the system. I didn't say it would brick the system.
But that's why Sony themselves put in the disclaimer that even if the drive meets the specs it still might not work.
We're still in the Beta test so we don't fully know yet
@Eonjay
It's not the installation of the drive that can be an issue, it's choosing the right one that works and won't harm your system by potentially overheating it.
Sony has not officially said these are the specific drives that work with the system. They have only released the compatible specs. Which if you're not a hardcore gamer or know about how Laptops and computers work telling a regular consumer picking up a PS5 at Wal-Mart that t...
^^^ I agree with this. Reboot was great and shadow was great but Rise was the best of the trilogy.
I liked the direction of the games. I did like the action of each of them. I do want a more acrobatic Lara though In the next game
@Seraphim
What's up
Thank you for the discussion and not acting like some who just hurl fanboy rants and argument!
Sony should have a list of approved drives. If not this will make the choosing a expansion solution even more complicated.
When Mark Cerny the architect of the system itself doesn't say this is Sony endorsed product but nods in the direction of hardware it wouldn't be the best move to go the other way with anot...
None of these SSDs are exactly new. We were just waiting for Sony to approve which ones we could use in the system after unlocking the drive.
But that's not the point I was making. The fact that now everyone seems to be okay to spend 250 for expanded storage on PS5 (with all the speed) but 220 dollars was too much for the Series X|S expansion.
Also these drives with heatsinks built in wouldn't be cheaper any time soon. next year maybe.
Crazy how people were ripping MS for the cost of the extra storage but every PS5 compatible drive so far
are more expensive.
Competition will eventually bring cost down but that's EVENTUALLY. The price won't be dropping in a few months because it's new tech.
How do you know that the heatsink you get for 8 dollars will cool the drive properly? Or will it even fit in the playstation?
There's a reason why Sony is putting an approved list of drives together.
It wasn't really the installation that is the issue. It was more so the getting the right specs for the drive and the cost that the average consumer will not get.
Now if you are buying a drive without a heatsink the that's even more confusing to explain. The hardcore will have no issues, but stating again the average consumer will have trouble.
These games is AMAZING!
If you're into metriod like games the Ori series games are must a own
^^^^that part!
Pretty much sums it up!
Remember when people/articles were saying that the naming convention between the Series X and the One X was confusing?
Imagine asking for a PS5 compatible Gen 4 NVMe PCIe, SSDs with a read speed of 5500MB/s or faster with a heatsink 0.096 inches width and 0.314 inches height.
Rolls right off the tongue! Who's gonna be confused about those specs?
And price for 1TB is going to be the cherry on top!
Does that need a heatsink?
I'm still waiting for the Sony approved list of SSDs
I purchased it from Gamepass at discount cost. Glad it's getting good reviews. I'm look forward to playing it this weekend
Looking forward to their work.
MS paid for the game to be on Gamepass. If Supergiant was not going to benifit from the deal they would not have put it on the service. They got paid!
I purchased HADES from Gamepass day 1 because I knew I would enjoy the game. Some people on Gamepass will wait until the game is leaving service and then purchase if they want to keep the game. You have options while still getting to play the game.
