I think they have announced a solid number of AAA titles as well. Driveclub Infamous, Killzone, Deep Down, Knack, The Order: 1886, Dark Sorcerer, DCOU, Final Fantasy XIV, and Tekken Revolution aren't a bad bunch of games just to name some.
These indie games just help beef up the game library by offering genres and games that gamers otherwise would have to seek elsewhere.
Those all look awesome, and I am kinda interested in trying out Hotline Miami 2 and maybe Shadow of the Beast.
I'm really excited to see the influx of indies in next gen. Honestly though both consoles are taking steps in the right direction with Sony going first. Microsoft hs been getting better as of late as they have been amending their policies that were against indies. I think indies will have a strong place next generation and conferences like these further prove that.
On a side note i did find it funny that Minecraft is coming to PS4 now too.
It is out in Europe, but no release date has been set for the North American release.
It seems to just be new characters.
Thanks for sharing that. I hadn't read that. I guess that plan backfired?
Whether or not they are exclusive isn't the main point though. Many people are happy simply because Sony took teh time to actually promote the various indie games instead of just focusing on AAA franchises.
Outlast is the first legitimately scary trailer I have ever seen. I can't wait to try the game,
I imagine this is only the beginning. Sony genuinely seems to want to promote the indie market.
That was probably the best part of the show!
It is shaping up to be one of the best Humble Bundles to date.
According to the Kickstarter it seems to be November 2013.
Some people give Best Buy a lot of flak, but overall I really like them as a company.
I was honestly surprised The Walking Dead won Game of the Year. I was expecting them to pick something more mainstream such as Assassin's Creed III or Mass Effect 3. I never though The Walking Dead had a chance.
It is an adventure game from Klei Entertainment: http://store.steampowered.c...
I was pleasantly surprised to see Journey receive so much recognition from the VGAs. The game is an awesome game.
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. That is what I had gathered from it, great to see an unbiased opinion confirm this.
I had no idea the component cables for Gamecube's were worth anything.
Very nice interview Kristi. Approved.
Most of these games will end up being console exclusive to the PS4/PS3/PS Vita, but they will also see PC releases.
