Easy, if he controls electro-magnetic force he would be able to do pretty much anything, due to the fact that almost all physical interactions are governed by it. For instance heat radiates in electro-magnetic waves so he could probably just quickly disperse the heat out of whatever it is he is trying to freeze.
More specifically they said first party move games, not all move games.
Microsoft requires them to charge for updates that add things like new levels. Sony doesn't thats why Valve said the PS3 version is getting free updates unlike the Xbox 360 version.
Actually the lag was so bad on the Tiger Woods game it almost makes me think it may be intentional. Like the game is mapping the entire swing before it preforms it. Probably not but I can't believe how bad it was, especially considering the other Move game had none.
People really need to realize that E3 isn't only about gamers but also investors. The Coca-Cola announcement wasn't for us it was for the investors.
Yeah the Dreamcast gets way to many nostalgia points in my opinion, it was a good system but most of the innovations he listed didn't actually amount to anything.
PS2 needed to be on the list, as it is arguably the most successful console of all time. Wii probably should have been given the number 10 spot as whether or not you like where it is taking gaming its gonna have an impact.
@astar the 360 did deserve its placement on the list (probably should have been lower though) as the impact Xbox Live has had on console gaming is undeniable. I may prefer PSN because it doesn't charge to play online but I gotta give credit where cred...
Again, while this is more of a stress, they may be on the swords list next week. This list seems to be about blunt weapons so the swords list will probably be the bladed weapons.
They said they would be doing the 10 greatest swords next week. So it probably didn't count.
Did you read the article? That was the authors conclusion, I think the only reason she mentioned Alan Wake is because it was her most recent review and their were some people discussing it in the forums.
Well the article makes some level of sense, for the most part it just seems to suggest that they lower the bar for entry into the serious PC game market. The concept is that it is too complicated to get into PC gaming right now and they should make it easier on the consumer to know what to buy and how to upgrade their rig.
"In my own experience, you do get the odd bad apple attempting to influence proceedings, but typically I just receive hate mail from infuriated PR people, and the occasional developer."
I chuckled when I read this, and I really don't know why.
This is gonna get a lot of complaints, I can't believe they said they almost put MGS4 on this list. If thats not fishing for hits I don't know what is.
Well I hope so, the Genesis was my first console so I've always had a soft spot for Sonic. At the very least it can't possibly be worse than Sonic the Hedgehog (the recent one not the, good one).
Sony is a huge company that has far more parts to it than just the PlayStation, just because the PS3 is doing well doesn't mean the company is doing well as a whole. On the other hand this actually is probably a good thing for the PlayStation over all, as you don't cut money from your earners, you cut it from the failing departments and give it to the ones that are making you money.
I doubt it, it may be a better game but what games make the jump from being just another game to becoming a cultural phenomenon is far more dependent on good advertising, luck, and the current condition of the market, than it is on game quality (not saying some level of quality isn't required especially if you want to make a franchise out of it).
Take Halo, for instance, it became what it is today mostly because Microsoft ended up using it as the icon for the Xbox, if it ...
Please refrain from personal attacks on people it only weakens arguments, especially opinion based ones like arguments over a games quality.
While Fallout 3 is a good game overall to many purists it isn't a good Fallout game. They would be fine with it if it didn't call itself Fallout 3.
Do you mean the cart level?
Cause I saw that and it looked conceptually interesting at the very least. It actually gave me a little hope for the game in that they are at least trying a few different ideas for the game it just remains to be seen if they can execute them well enough to work.
Very nice it's always a good idea to play devils advocate for a better view of the picture. I agree with you on the assumption that people who buy a game used probably wouldn't have bought it new, but your reasoning is slightly flawed. The question isn't would those people have bought that specific game it's would they have bought a new game instead. From a publishers point of view every game that is bought used is a lost potential sale, maybe not of that game but of anothe...
Actually in many ways it was much cleverer to announce them before E3 because it gave them 3-4 weeks of attention without having to compete with anyone else.
