They should really just finish the stories and properties they have, not to mention they already announced a Marvel series in the works. Part of Telltale's problem is they're stretched too thin which damages release scheduling, engine performance and even the writing at times.
Cloud is universally known and even if you never played FF7 you'd identify with him, hardly anyone outside of fans know who Tifa is.
Shipped, not sold.
I'll just play offline brah.
This roster is just awful at this point. You tease Urien with showing his stage, a character almost everyone wants and this is what you unveil? The backlash is going to be real, this character looks awful.
At this point I'm completely turned off by the characters thus far.
Weird because the first is better than the third game.
It really is and it fixed practically everything wrong with XIII. Most of the reviews even admitted to it being better, yet due to the over scoring of the original, had to award it a lower score.
Modern games reviews; all hype, no substance.
I don't care about Hayter voicing Big Boss, we all know his voiced changed, but MGSV's sucks because he doesn't talk. It doesn't matter if it's Keifer, Hayter or Richard Doyle, if they don't have lines in game it doesn't matter. The voice actor wasn't the problem, it was the direction of the character and the choice to make him a mute. It's so jarring and frustrating to watch characters talk to Boss and he just stands there staring at them.
I don't think this is can even be debated by long time fans, not to mention it's so glaringly unfinished from a narrative and character standpoint. The open world didn't benefit the game at all.
Really wish KOEI would give us another Romance of the Three Kingdoms game instead of a rehashed Dynasty Warriors. They were among my favourites growing up and I always preferred them to NA.
3 is the GOAT.
Ya I don't need a FTP game regardless of who is making it. Sorry Cliffy, come correct or don't come at all.
Bison has grey hair, it's definitely not a prequel. People care and story modes matter in fighting games more now than ever, that's how you grow an audience
If no one cared, why are there multiple comics, mangas, kickstarted action series etc? People care
Was Killer Instinct only for fighting game "lovers"? I spoke to more new players who only got into that game due to how pretty it looked, despite not being avid fighting game fans. Marketing matters.
No firm NA or European release date yet, but they did promise to have it out in NA for 2014. We'll see.
However you feel about the XIII saga of Final Fantasy, one thing that they objectively nailed was the score for all 3 games. Just fantastic stuff and as much as I'd like Uematsu to return for a game, the music is in good hands moving forward.
After the abomination that was the first game, the series really fixed itself up nicely. While not the best the franchise as seen, XIII-2 was an excellent game that righted the wrongs of the original and Lightning Returns is a brave take that throws the genre on its head. Excellent combat, great score and visuals.
As they say, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
Thanks for reading the top 10. If you haven't, head over and check out the first part of this list covering 25-11: http://playstationenthusias...
Out of the 3 consoles Nintendo would be the one I'd least like to have this, or any exclusive that was previously on other platforms. Bayonetta shows that the fans won't follow and it does more to create hard feelings than anything. Why bring your game exclusively to a console that guarantees the least amount of sales? That makes no sense...
