Ever since sony flipped flopped on the DRM and Internet requirements they have righted their ship. Worldwide sales will go to Sony, the US will be the big battleground for this console war.
I don't think Apple can compete with any of the big three. But you've got to admit, video games ain't selling like they used to.

What if you don't want the camera? For someone that got Kinect as a gift (myself), it was a utter waste of time.
I'm baffled that they can change all of this with a console that's due in 5 months.

I owned all 3 (Wii, 360, PS3) consoles, a DS, PSP and Vita. This generation I plan to just get the PS4.

When the returns come the retailers will direct them to the PS4. It's cheaper and has less complications.

Sony one simply because they embraced gamers and came across as more genuine.
It is definitely true Microsoft had many missteps, but many of the missteps are part of their longterm plan. They really didn't expect the reaction they got.
Seriously, their policy doesn't make sense. Hopefully they learn and foster better relationships. Right now it is a big plus for the PlayStation platforms.
