DC Universe Online

Mass Effect 2 was the only 360 game I actually kinda wanted. Still could have lived without it, as I got about halfway through and got tired of it. Granted, DC Universe Online has taken over my PS3.

I'd take Alan Wake, but only as a downloadable game for like $20 tops.

360 can keep everything else. Especially Gears of War...

If you spend more time installing a game than you do playing it, that's your own waste of time and money.

@perdie
Actually, a lot of people were boycotting MW2. I remember because I was one of them.

Missed out on Bound in Blood. I was going to pick it up when the price dropped, but never got around to it because of Red Dead Redemption.

I think MoH was lacking because they tried too hard to make it like CoD instead of doing what they're best at.

And I completely disagree with you saying that CoD has good singleplayer. MW1 has a decent story, but MW2 is a complete disaster. Infinite plot holes, extremely short and the characters lack personality.

It will be a significantly better game, but it won't beat CoD in terms of sale and popularity...

This generation has definitely proven that the majority of gamers prefer arcade shooters, and Battlefield definitely is not an arcade shooter.

Maybe this will manage to convert some of the CoD fanboys. I hope so. It'd be nice to see Activision fall, but unfortunately MW3 will sell like hot cakes later this year.

Agreed. I know nothing about the DC characters, lore or any comics in general... Never really gotten into comics. But the game is still fun as hell.

I didn't think it was funny; I thought it was pretty bad ass.

Edit: The point of that scene wasn't to "push the edge." Its purpose was to reiterate the dementia of the people on the station.

It's still an 8+ hour game, which is a lot longer than other recent releases. Plus, the PS3 version comes with DS: Extraction, which is incredible. I think it's worth full retail price.

I haven't tried DS2 multiplayer yet, though. But that should add some extra replay value after I play through the campaign a few more times to upgrade all my weapons, armor, etc. Oh, and I'd like to attempt the hardcore mode at some point.

I didn't really have a problem with enemies spawning behind me. You realize that they do that and you learn to watch your back and it isn't really an issue. It's a gameplay mechanic.

The only enemies that really pissed me off were right at the end of DS2 (I believe they were in DS1, as well) that don't die, they just keep respawning their limbs. I wasted so much ammo and died about ten times. It was just frustrating. I like a challenge, but they were just chea...

My console froze once when I leveled-up. I've seen a lot of pop-in textures, but they don't really bother me. That's about it, though. Considering how much I've played it, that's nothing. Especially compared to some other recent games.

If people would quit comparing this game to WoW, they would enjoy it a lot more.

Killzone 3 isn't Call of Duty, so it's no good.
DC Universe Online isn't WoW, so it's no good.

Both are ridiculous statements.

Besides, I don't think it's fair to review a game that has virtually infinite content and replay value after it's only been out for a month. Unless you've gotten to level 30 with two different chara...

Because they want to play CoD but not pay for Xbox Live.
That would be my logic, at least.
I don't know, though. I stopped playing after W@W.

KotOR II was good. (First was miles better)
Neverwinter Nights 2 was alright. (Never played the first)
Alpha Protocol and New Vegas were pretty weak and broken games.

So for every good or alright game, they have a stinker.

If he blends this thing when it comes out, which he will, I will be so sad. :(

Actually, no. It's going to be so beast that it doesn't blend. Then he just has to stand their awkwardly and disappointed, then later pretend it never happened. So ashamed
