I don't think so, I think it looks that way. I honestly think they're so surprised/shocked by the success of PS4, they're afraid to deviate from the current path they're currently on. They don't know what made the PS4 such a hit, which makes them afraid of making any moves that could disrupt that success. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" kind of mentality, which if unchecked could lead to stagnation... that's where Xbox/Nintendo come in, it's up ...

As someone who has no interest in playing a Switch version of Pokemon Go or Smash Brothers... i'll have to disagree.
I'm always surprised, maybe I shouldn't be, when people write something that's a blanket statement. Why not just say "Nintendo has won 2018, already... for me." I'd be much more willing to read why at that point versus the above headline, but I guess it wouldn't get as much clicks.
I'm not 100% sure why his statement is a surprise, it falls inline with their focus on engagement.
@naruga okay, that's your opinion and probably a valid one... but in your opinion, what games, that you've played, have great atmosphere/feeling/design/game play? I like having a good debate, that's what forums are for right? or are we just making statements that we don't have to backup?
I think this is the game they wanted that first release to be. This is them being able to deliver on what they originally had planned for that first game.
This game reminds of Destiny. I don't know if it'll end up like Destiny, in the sense that it was much better than what reviewers scored it. I understand why Reviewers gave Destiny that score, they're working with a deadline and need something to post. They crunched and poured dozens of hours in a few days. I think we can only properly judge this game 6 months to a year from now, and by the people who've stuck around and played it the whole time.

I don't understand how someone could hate on another thing, whatever it is, so blindly. You consistently make yourself look like a giant dummy. I honestly think it would be a pretty sh*t move for MS to buy up any of these companies, especially if the sole purpose for it is cause they need exclusives. Instead of building a new team or adding to their existing team... lets just buy a major game dev and make a once 3rd party dev into a 1st party dev. Everyone is always up in arms when a company makes a once non-exclusive game into an exclusive... imagine making an entire company who releases, sometimes, dozens of games a year completely...
I don't know why anybody nitpicks pre-release images/video. It just the dumbest thing ever. If it matters to you that much don't buy it. If graphics matter to you that much, go build a PC. If a few missing TREES will ruin your enjoyment of the game, stop playing video games. Does the X1X version run smoother? Is the shadows better on the X1X? If you're gonna make a statement, not just you, about something being "better period" at least elaborate.
Exactly... we're just going to ignore the fact that game streaming has been around for years? The real war... latency/lag. Whoever can figure that out first, gets the leg up. The others will soon follow and then it's back to has the better games/features.
