I absolutely loved Far Cry 2. Might have to say it edges slightly better than 3. Wish they go back to the African setting again, and go back to tthe more sombre tone rather than the crazy/insanity route.

Transparency is something left to be desired by bigger companies. Ninja Theory is a team of about 10 working on a title they dream of and hold rights to without any interference.
You'd be hard pressed to find someone passionate about their work who didnt want to show it off piece by piece.

One thing im worried about in this game is the tone. It doesnt look as MAD and crazy as the movies. And Max looks like a Last of Us Joel wannabe with little to no expression or character.
I want it to be the fun crazy ride experience from the film, not some run of the mill action shooter with no personality.
Heck, even borderlands seems more Mad Max in tone than this game.
But im still holding out hope, after all it is the Just Cause dev.
When I hear publishers turning their focus to making more Mobile games and less Console games, its obvious they care more about making a quick buck than creating art with artistic integrity, meanings, narratives and characters.
Why paint art when crayons are so much cheaper, I suppose.
I dont mind police, but they should be supplementary to the game, not a main focus.
As sparse as say GTA.

Metroid Prime Hunters. Flipping loved that game and the diverse characters of bounty hunters. Sylux looked so badass.
Wish there was a sequel to that game.
