i wonder how many people werent smart enough to know this is on PC not consoles.......
PS pc games are easier to hack
pps this was already patched on consoles a while ago
i have a 6870.
it plays Crysis on VERY HIGH, full HD and i get 30 or more FPS at all times. it isnt "maxed" but this card can play every game on very high (from my experience) so this is actually a really good deal and setup for people looking for a gaming PC. and yeah it's much more powerful than a console.
that being said, i hate all this crap about PC gaming being cheap...IT'S NOT, it costs alot and they didnt even include Windows OS ...
actually Nintendo has invested more money into holographic disc than Sony. its true look it up.
@VG_Releaser
LMFAO that has to be the funniest comment ive seen on N4G ever, no lie.
yeah well you are on N4G so you should have known that, no need to act surprised.
i have 2 sixaxis controllers that analogs messed up a few months after i got them. but my 3 dualshocks all still work fine. i think the original sixAxis controlers were meant to break so that consumers would buy more to make try and compensate for them selling the system at a loss of profit. ive never had a controller completely stop working though.
also stop defending the wii's motion controlls when a huge majority of it's games doesnt use the motion controlls well...
in all fairness none of us know anything about it. we just heard rumors but nothing official. but i do agree, i think its the next gen nintendo console not just a hdwii.
am i the only one who noticed their list in the article was off.

@AWBrawler
you just acknowledged that the wii didnt have enough space and you had to buy an SD card. the point of danielle007 comment was that wii doesnt have enough memory and it doesnt, simple
-You ran out of room on your wii
-I ran out of room on my wii
so a bigger hard drive would have helped us all, stop trying to defend an obvious fault of the wii.
Nintendo wants hand models with perfectly reserved, non aging hands

hardcore
someone who prefers deeper, more complex, and more challenging games and like to play for extended periods of time. not all shooters are hardcore.
Casual
someone who plays games casually. they usually prefer simpler games and plays them for short intervals. party games fit perfectly into this catagory.
journalist has been using the terms hardcore and casual for years now. i dont see how some people still dont know what they mean...
@firefoxprime
wow really well said, i dont mean the usually "geohot is gay" N4G type of well said, i mean really good breakdown and summary of the article with your own insight on it.
So black people wear Monster T-Shirts? that kid was in every way WHITE, he wasnt trying to act Black, i dont see why you would even think that.
no cosumers shouldnt pay for advertisement, and transportation (per system) would be so small that i wouldnt even count it. only thing is the retailer profit which i dont think will be more than $20-30 per system, Nintendo still sells it for about 100 percent profit.
haking someone account for their credit card info is not the same as taking down PSN. i doubt any PSN user's credit card info was stolen during this outage.
him as in anonymous?
well im sure Sony will catch a few anons, as some of them are actually dumb and just follow orders. the people in charge will most likely not be caught (but hey you never know). they use many different techniques to keep from being discovered.
during anonymous last hacking, i believe 40 was put on trial.
the only way Nintendo can win me back is by having proper 3rd party support. i like some of their 1st party games but i regret buying a wii before a ps3.
if cafe has bad 3rd party support it will definatly be THE LAST of the 3 next gen consols i will buy.
"When it comes down to it, new consoles are developed as a means to give developers a new way to create new game experiences and to rightly enjoy the monetary benefits of their efforts."
thats the whole article in one sentence for ya.
oh i should clarify. i mean crysis 1 on max settings. crysis 2 on medium settings is what consols are runnung and at sub hd.
so yeah hd4850 is a powerful (3 year old) chip and nintendo might use it if the console is $400 and is the size of a xbox 360 fat.
yes well this is PC, nobody can do anything like this on consoles. actually this is a very old glitch, patched on consoles a while ago.
