Played pretty much all the big souls games out there and ”all” from soft titles but didn’t enjoy the demo of lies of P. Does the game get a lot better (mostly environment wise)?

(Did change pretty much every setting before starting thou. Hardest difficulty, no UI help etc. - I read it was for the best, so can’t really say what it’s like on default)

25+ hours in playing DA with zero expectations and not wanting it to be anything else than its own experience. I think the game is just as good as many others in the 7-9 range of modern AA-AAA. Very much enjoying a quality game. Why look for more flaws in some vs others?

I’m 40+ but I very seldom write comments and usually find them full of misunderstandings and imposing of subjective perspectives. I’m not a native English speaker so hopefully that came out right.

I would suggest really going thru all of the game areas before moving on. To me a good build and decent amount of levels came natural when reaching the last 25%. No farming at all. And to me the game never got difficult.. it was more leaning towards being to easy. I guess it all depends on previous experience and build quality…

I for one truly enjoyed Enclave and found it to be one of the better games for the first Xbox. Thought Starbreeze (Chronicles of Riddick) still had the rights?

This I’m very curious about, do you know this from experiencing all of Dreams tools and methods comparing them with Unreal/Unity and knowing these tools or is it based more loosely on what you thinks, hear, read? I’ve put in some 20hrs into dreams tutorials and even thou it’s very smart in its structure and “help” it still requires users to have the mindset and capabilities of handling and structuring a huge project with tons of aspects. I know very little of the other tools but Dreams has m...

As a lot of gamers these days, with too many games to play I haven't played the Tomb Raider reboot games (did play the uc series). I like the puzzle/action mix of Dark Siders and Zelda dungeons.. Is Tomb Raider any in any sense like these or are those games more like UC in different clothing?

Joining in on the complaints instead of trying to see the good; What really bothers me thou is that instead of having all that was implemented in late D1 in regards to functionality transfer to D2 it seemed like D2 started out just as “dumb” as D1 did having improvements to core functionality beeing patched in during the game cycle.

To be fair I was never talking from any other perspective than my own and always beeing subjetive about the opinions, never claming anything else so I fail to see where I’m trying to impose my paradigmn for millions of players. Otherwise I completely agree with all of your statements and only feel I need to clairfy that what I wanted to share was an opinion of mine that I enjoyed the games and that teven thou I agrre on what you stated I would accept even a third game. I don’t mind quitting a...

Well when you boil it down, for me it’s about entertainment per buck, and I can’t see how this game has fooled me. I often compare game prices to rental movies and expect either a lasting existential thought process or a rollercoaster of feelings (be that joy or what not) if I leave the game after 12 hrs feeling I’ve gotten more than 6-8 movies then I’m completely satisfied and ok with the product that I’ve spent time and money on.

I honestly think both Destiny 1 and 2 are good quality games. Amaziing level desing, many ways to play. Why expect this impossible ammount of content? Instead look at the details of what there is, for me (with out huge ammounts of repetition) these games have lasted and contained a whole lot more than for example an uncharted game. I think the real issue is whats been expected rather than whats been delivered. For sure there are short comings but better receviced games have gotten away with a...
