But I like PlayStation over any other brand in the world. I have all consoles, even a Vita. I buy almost every game Sony releases. I can prove if you want to see. I love PlayStation and hate Xbox like somebody else.

If you're showing me how I should write a comment to fight the console wars under the non fanboy banner I salute you. Yours is amazing. Classic "I'm above your childish console wars, I choose a side because I'm rationa...

I'd pay $100 more just to expand Sony domination over Xbox. Half the fun having a console is winning console wars.

For me is more about console wars and gamer culture. As a gamer and Sony fan, I fell good when Xbox and Microsoft go bad. It's like wining the war. CDPR, even though they drop the ball with CP2077, is a fan favorite and good guys. I like and want to like them. If Microsoft is able to make Redfall right it doesn't matter to me, because I want to hate everything about them.

It may seem childish, but I made a lot a friends in Sony community sharing that common enemy. W...

I don't even need them, but I'll buy just to have a complete set of PS5 accessories. I think it will be amazing with my new PS5 slim. The other ones are going to stay with both original models.

Sony should charge more for those. Nintendo and Xbox don't have any, so there's no reason to enter this market with such premium device and such low price.

Microsoft has always been bad at communicating with gamers. They are too direct. They should look at how Sony and Nintendo turn almost every legacy service off and still don't get any relevant backlash.

MS needs to understand that gamers need to read/listen to what they want. They don't care too much about what you really do.

Exactly! And all that combined with the prices increasing is going to make results going through the roof! Imagine: hardware cheaper to make and more expensive to buy, subscriptions with an increase of 33% and software with US$10 more in the price. Wow! Sony assets will skyrocket! I'm so happy to be part of the team achieving those results. I've upgraded my Plus from essential to premium to give results a boost.

I'm so happy Sony was able to reduce production costs and increase retail price on hardware, subscriptions and software. Next fiscal year I'll shove the financial results in Xbox and Nintendo fanboys. They won't have a chance.

Me too. I think those games are the sweet spot for $60 games when big AAA games reach $80.

Sony always shows to Microsoft how you should communicate to gamers. You need to say what they want to hear and after that do what you want to do. For instance, say that online should be free, and then launch a console and charge for online. Say that gamers should be able to play all their games offline an then launch always online games and make your console inconvenient without internet.

Console gamers need games, but they need material for console wars too. Give then the...

I paid the equivalent of 6 dollars for the physical version of this game in my country. Time to give it a shot.

This is how capitalist companies give costumers an illusion of choice, when the whole time they are just guiding us to an planned goal.

When movie and music industries beginning to move away from discrete sales to subscription - something only viable because new technology have emerged - they have well known and documented steps. The first is make the old product inconvenient, at least in costumers mind. Them they offer a practical, cheap and convenient alternative "as...

It's easy to blame Unity and being a cool gamer on internet by saying they are doing the wrong thing. But when Unity started its business model, they innovate allowing people to develop and publish their games for free, without paying for the engine only if the developer starts to making money. I know myself at least five people that started game development because Unity allow them to.

However, the game subscription model came and change all the business landscape for ...

For some videogames are themselves. They have nothing more. Nothing to lose. They are already dead. These plastic boxes and its parent companies are the reason for some to live. They will fight for brands just because they don't have anything more to live to.

They are sick. But they will never accept that.
