The best thing to do if you have a team and you want to improve is to stop caring about stats all together and focus on communication and teamwork. Focusing on stats leads players to play selfishly.
Whoa. What's your league, if you don't mind me asking?
Haha wow, I didn't even see this before. Wtf
It's definitely not going to replace Overwatch, but I think that the formulas are kind of similar. Destiny and Overwatch are both squad/team based and are trying to hit the same formulas for cooperating, queueing, matchmaking, etc.
OW is gamifying the matchmaking mechanics really well, and it makes it fun for hardcores and for casual fans. Destiny 2 has the opportunity to do the same, with a smaller focus on mp. They'll succeed if they're able to gamify the matc...
I agree with pretty much all of Kaplan's post, and it's important to remember that gamers think about balance on really small timescales. There are many games out there that have had huge meta shifts many months or even years without balance changes. I don't necessarily think Overwatch should be one of those games, but especially early on, things will change fast. It hasn't been that long.
