I was talking about the combat. It looks like a VR game.

This looks very…. average. I’m really hoping the gameplay in trailer is not indicative of what it’ll be like in reality. Looks so clunky and slow paced.

Some? All should be. This sort of micro transaction nonsense from mobile games, pushing it on kids. It’s awful. Saw a parent with £30k on a credit card from FIFA packs. They’ll never be able to pay it off. Absolutely sickens me.

Oddly I was thinking about this game yesterday and going back through it. Loved it when I was a kid. Shame this remaster isn’t much cop as it would have been even more reason to buy.

I’m not sure the development cycle would be that long, considering they’re not “new” games. The storyline is already there, the gameplay and the models have been mapped out.
I would think it would be next year sometime.

They’ve done it before, and it was brilliant.

?
They’ve already done a version outside of America and it was brilliant. Had one of the best game soundtracks of all time.

Fortunately I was in the minority that had a PC that could run it (almost) bug free and really enjoyed the game. It’s odd that they wanted to create something so ambitious whilst also wanting to release it on 10year old hardware. Really beggars belief why that decision was made.

I really hope this is parody because I definitely laughed

I get why they’re doing it - but why build this game for PS4. Imagine how much better it would be if it didn’t need to be able to run on 8 year old hardware.

I’ve always wondered why games don’t have a dynamic difficulty setting. They must be able to program it to understand your reactions to scenarios and tailor the game to a harder/easier difficulty.
That way the game would be accessible, but also still allow people to get better the more they play.

I have a feeling that the issues with CB were predominantly around making the game run on older consoles. When they were aware there wasn’t going to be the player base of the new consoles they decided to push through the XBONE and PS4 versions. The game, on a half decent PC, PS5 and XBSX ran fine, save the odd glitch associated with any new sandbox game.

The issue seemed to stem from corporate greed most of all and, I have a feeling, they will have learnt their lesson. If n...

No they didn’t. They said no to having no option other than a subscription based service. When it was proposed it was also to remove the expensive disk drives as well. The fact it’s popular is because it’s an option, not a necessity.

I absolutely love Stellaris, but you really need to invest some serious time in to it. A good run through on fast takes a solid 8-12hours, with a lot of pop management in the middle game which makes it somewhat tedious.
The biggest change for me would be if you can get to a point where you can just auto-best the population.
There are some races where, once you get to a solid economy, you can just switch off pop production, but they need to include pathways for all to achie...

I ordered mine recently. Only reason being no first party offering and the fact that the TV stand I have is black so the PS5 white stands out too much for my preference.

Assume it would just be a ticket. Standard codes would have a note on frequency. more frequent/serious the issue to quicker it’ll get fixed. So, although yours won’t be picked up individually, the fact it’s been reported will be a note in an extremely long list of notes.

I believe MP’s in the U.K. have been tasked with making it illegal. Would be interesting to see how that affects other industries though as regulating price fluctuations would also take in to account festival ticket resales etc. It could impact a few businesses significantly.

Yeah, it’s in the U.K.

I’m not entirely sure how the bots work - whether they can trick the system - but they should be limiting the console to one purchase per household.

To be honest. If EA hadn’t have pushed the game releasing in last gen consoles the game would be fine. Playing it on PC, in its current form, is fine.
Without releasing last-gen they could have focussed on optimisation for PC.
Their stock price has absolutely tanked. They should just honour the free upgrade of the game - focus on optimising for this gen - focus on releasing new content and sack off last gen entirely. Let the people who want to refund, refund and let it be....
