It's Microsoft next crackdown!!! Some time it's better to just scrap a game and start again. :(
WoW, that's interesting! would be nice if they made some games for PC well they are at it... Half-Life: Alyx, was nice and all, but that and crap DOTA games is all they have made in years.
What Apple does is no different than what Walmart does! Really, with Walmart if I do not like the price I can walk next door to another store and buy it there. On IOS I have to use the Apple store an there lies the problem. The EU will put an end to this sooner rather then later, it has already started.
"EU to charge Apple with anti-competitive behaviour this week"
Don't really care about increasing the amount, just keep the quality as good as last Gen please.
Just finished the game on PC and loved it, were a few funny bugs but nothing game destroying.
Over all I would give it 8.9 on PC. Main story is to short.
What I don't get is the E3 showcase looked so much better then this. Microsoft is obsessed with native 4k and sacrificing everything for it.
My god it's like some forgot about the LOD slider.....
If that's the case and the Xbox sx can't run it then the PC is real trouble and the biggest 3rd party game engine seller by far just lost most of it's customer making its software pretty much useless to 90% of dev's.
Some how I think not.
Got this for my PC on Oculus last year, fun game made me feel a little sick but i do suffer VR sickness quite a lot. By the end I wished it was a little longer but still a good buy for the money.
Interesting, don't think there right but it was a OK read. the biggest problem SSD/NVME drive have is a problem reading lots of small files (just look at the benchmarks for 4k read and write times). Console could easy over come this were as PC's can not. In-fact i would bet SDK optimisation could take a mid-range NVME drive and outperform all the but the very best PC has to offer. IMHO.
because I'm not 12 and need a PC for work.
Really, game wise I see around a second better loading times with my NVME drive's over my SSD's were as HHD to SSD was around 15 to 30 seconds faster. The problem is the CPU's just can't run software as fast as the NVME can send it. I don't have a bad PC before you ask 1700x with a 5700xt and 5 drive, two ssd two NVME and a HHD back up drive.
And it should be noted M.2 is just a connector you can put a mSATA drive in it as well, they have two cut outs on the...
It has just the right amount of Pins..... 7 for data and 5/4 for power. PC has many more Power pins but this are just extra power rails as other devices can be added to a PC which may need more power.
Who's really to blame, the company's that want to make huge profits or the Sheep that are happy to pay for it?
"To put that in perspective, at 2GHz, the PlayStation 5's RDNA-based GPU is dishing out at least 9.2 TFLOPs" how the hell can you tell how many Tflops a GPU will have when they don't even know how many compute unit are even in it? 5700xt has 40 Cu and the 5700 has 36 Cu and the PS5 has...... who knows at this point it could have 50 or 20 Cu for all we know.
don't get me wrong I think 9 Tflops is possible for PS5 and the next Xbox I just don't get ...
You can't use one outlier game to predict how much faster the 2070s will be that's just stupid you need to take a average which looks as if the card will be faster, But and it is a big but there are no game ready driver available for the Navi cards at this point in time. I would expect a few of the really bad outliers to change after a few months of driver updates but the over all FPS Average not to change to much.
As for market share.... I agree, Even when AMD/ATI bea...
Look like AMD has already cut Radeon RX 5700 and XT cards
RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary: was $499, NOW $449
RX 5700 XT: was $449, NOW $399
RX 5700: was $379, NOW $349
Which will place the 5700xt against the 2060 not the 2070 on price.
How is it not?
This is so disappointingly generic......... well done Microsoft money well spent.
Must just be me but I kind of prefer the the old Pixelated graphics. must be getting nostalgic..... :)
