I disagree with DF/EGs article, having the option turn on and off supersampling how you like is better than Microsofts aprouch with the XBox One X, where 4K resolution is running all the time for 1080p users. Ehmm not in the slightest, Monster Hunter already looks miles better than the Witcher 3 despite running on an older engine. Just look at the huge monsters and compare what western RPGs have to offer, they usually have only human like enemies because its cheaper to develop. Japanese devolopers are also way better at designed their main characters without needing too much polygons. The only good western developers are from Sony with overblown budgets.
