That is because the gaming media never explored the scale. They kept giving mediocre overhyped games high scores (call of duty, battlefield, etc) now when there is a good game and by good I mean a 6 -7 which should mean above average/good and it reviews as such people are skeptical
there are over ten million next gen title consoles out there already the main audience of gamers have moved on. Make your games next gen only already
RTS belongs on a pc. They can work on consoles but they always feel restrictive. After playing AOE 2 on pc then trying it on PS2 it was just weird

I honestly think they will improve performance with tweaks just like the xbox one will.
Just look at the gains from engine optimization and hardware optimization last gen, look at uncharted 1 compared to the last of us or uncharted 3. Look at Halo 3 compared to Halo 4, gears of war is the same.
I have only ever replayed a games story twice.
Once with Mass Effect 2
and 8 times with Heavy Rain
It is nice to have a game that you can go through more then once but it is not a deal breaker

I had a ps4 sold it, my mate had an xbox one he sold it.
I have turned to pc gaming for now. Will buy a ps4 once games come out. Maybe an xbox one once the price drops

My mate has a gigabyte 660ti overclocked to over 1200mhz I cannot believe it on benchmarks it beats some very high end cards. My R9 290 for example lol
