lol.... Just no.
Man! I'm still sad that I didn't get to sign up... ;'(
LOL! 13 disagrees and counting on my last post. I don't understand this site sometimes. Still trying to understand MikeCosgrove's comment. Eh.... What's the point, just more pointless arguments.
Voicing Nathan Drake in Uncharted has NOTHING to do with it AT ALL. Have you seen his track record with the amount of games he voiced in? It's almost in the hundreds.
OXM probably has a problem listening to him in almost every game. I for one have no problem with his voice in games.
What does being an Xbox 360 website have to do with anything?
Uh, is there something going on over at Vancouver? Closing studios & massive lay-offs...
@StrongMan
Is that really what you want? It's completely unnecessary for a Halo game. Especially considering all Spartans have their own heads up display in their helmets. How are you suppose to jump & strafe while shooting at the same time?
Why would a Spartan hundreds of years in the future need to look down the sights of a gun when the info shows up on their HUD?
Come on man!
When COD starts pushing massive multiplayer maps like Hemorrhage (heck, how about the entire Forge World) with vehicles, let me know.

Or even custom games like this

LOL! Damn dude, relax. Way to blow everything out of proportion.
I know right. When Sony closes studios it's all of the sudden no big deal.
Move, Kinect, etc.... All just a bunch of gimmicks. BioWare needs to focus on their game development. Not dealing with motion controls.
Wtf is that even suppose to mean? I for one think Halo games are on par (if not better) than Uncharted. It's all a matter of opinion I guess. I love Halo for its large, almost open-world environments with its sandbox style gameplay. Something Uncharted doesn't really have.
Don't know if this is relevant to the topic, but I just looked at THQ's record with their studios, and my my my, they sure have closed down a lot of studios.
Uh, no. They removed the open world for design and story reasons. Not because of 360 limitations. If the 360 could handle games like RAGE, GTA 4, & Red Dead Redemption, then I don't see why Alan Wake could not also be open-world.
It's funny how some people here are just trying to put the blame on other companies. "bu bu bu but MS and Nintendo also do this"... Like some sort of fanboy bias is here or something. Get over yourselves.... Seriously. People will eventually go out and sue MS & Nintendo. So calm your fanboy minds.
Before everyone starts to rip SJPFTW apart, let me just confirm the obvious for everyone. The PS3 has 256MB of XDR RAM & 256MB for video. Split architecture between CPU & GPU. 512MB combined including the 48MB of the OS footprint... That's 464MB of memory altogether.
Boom. Bam. Bop.
I don't know why TheOtherTheoG got a disagree and why Stuart5756 has 21 agrees. These games were never meant to compete. They look NOTHING alike. Different style of art & gameplay from the looks of it.
I don't understand where this hype of The Last of Us is coming from. The trailer itself was pretty average other than the graphics. But it's Naughty Dog so I guess that's why (which is a good enough reason I guess since ND have earned their reputation).
Actually, if you look at the developer diaries of Call of Duty: Black Ops, you'll see that they actually have the voice actors do the motion capture.
Look, I'm not gonna argue with you here. Naughty is a great studio. I'll just leave it at that.
I'm not going to lie, I watch the VGAs mostly for their reveals. Hopefully Halo 4 gets a trailer at the VGAs like Halo: Reach did.
*crosses fingers*
You definitely made up all of those game in your head. How long did it take you to come up with Minecraft or Sleeping Dogs? /s
