agreed. The simulator reveal was the best part of the demo for me. Everything else felt sluggish and uninspired
I never got around to playing Old Blood. How does it stand up against New Order?
I liked the first one, but the formula remained the same for the next 100+ hours while none of the subsequent dungeons had a story as intriguing as the first
people are arguing about things I never wrote about. Never said it was too much reading. I clearly read more than the commenters who are barely going past the headline
@kingthrash. Never complained about reading. Read the article and you'll know better.
You love to defend this game
I have to disagree for sure. This feels more like the scariest games made in recent history.
Easily one of my favorite indies
Good find mate! Sounds a bit like Carmageddon
You didn't like them?
Persona 3 and 4 were solid but focused on one location, not two dungeon locations to balance out
@aspiringprogenji
If you read the article, I highlight many of the positives in the game. I don't believe they outweigh the negative, but if you give it a read, I break it down quite fairly.
Sometimes less is more, and I believe this is simply a case of too much content distraction from the game's potential
It's not too different
The other games had the same format but this just lacked direction. No reason to keep going
Simply too much content for an unfocused story
I loved Persona 3 and 4, but this just a huge whiff for me
New Yokai is great. After awhile, I really just wanted more variation
well..... HOW bad? Bad enough so a night of friends + booze won't help improve the game?
I'm wondering what they could do to keep it thriving a bit more
I think so
