You don't need anything special to get into the map. Just select from Skirmish, Rumble, or Salvage and hope that one of the maps you play on is Mercury.

PS+ doesn't even offer mediocre games. Just wrote a blog post here about this.
Basically stated in the post that people are using the PS+/GWG lineups as an excuse to call a certain console inferior. Basically the new Resolutiongate. Entire argument is stupid and senseless - all lineups offer great games for free. Each month, you get over $50 worth of games if you own all three platforms (with PS+) - $50 worth of games per month plus multiplayer access? Good deal to me.
Just remembering that tee that Adam Boyes wore once, parodying Phil Spencer's SoD tee, I think Boyes' said "Token Indie" or something like that... Lol
