I personally haven't noticed any bad textures. Can someone give me an example?
I have noticed that at the very beginning of some cutscenes the textures will be low-res while it is still loading the hi-res textures.

Due to my excitement of the game, I completely ignored everything except the first disk. Earlier today I actually looked at everything in my game box and I found my code. Now I have the network, wohoo.

I get enough of the these characters in Gears of War, I am not a fan of them, and they are going to take away from the quality of Lost Planet 2 imo.
The reviews people have made are based on 100's of hours of gameplay during open and closed beta as well as the massive tournament MAG held. Open beta and the tournament are the RELEASE CANDIDATE of the game since the game went gold at that time. How can you say they aren't credible reviews?
There is a GIGANTIC blip on your UI that shows you EXACTLY where the objective is. There is also a map that shows you exactly where the objective is. I don't really see how you can get it confused unless you are someone who should be playing The Conduit instead of MAG.

The don't enjoy my PS3 as much as my 360 but damn, how can you actually believe there is a killswitch. That is just kind of absurd. Sony isn't stupid enough to DESTROY their reputation with a scheme like that. It would eventually be proven if they did that.
You guys should really read the story first. A fiscal year is a business year. They run differently than actual calendar years. Since their fiscal year starts in late 2010, the games will come out sometime between late 2010 and early 2011.

The game is solid, but I think it is just bloated with too much stuff. It is almost like they tried too hard. I for one won't be getting the DLC.

On a side note I own a 360 and a PS3 (which I played for more than 3 days without it RRoDing. Infact 3 years is more accurate) and I don't see how you can say that 2010 is the year that you MUST get a 360. I don't see much special on the horizon besides 2 great looking games that you can get for PC also.

Typically i'd agree with you. I only buy multiplayer games for the most part. With gamefly around, there are very few singleplayer games that I would buy. Any BioWare game, Elder Scrolls, and Final Fantasy are the only single player only games that I buy.
I played Mass Effect four times and I plan on playing Mass Effect 2 more than once as well. Most BioWare games have excellent replay value because of their length and wide array of side missions.
