You must be talking about the 2007 preview videos of killzone 2.
When the game came out 2 years later the textures did not look grey, the lighting colour looked really good also. The game looks so nice in HD and true next gen game.

Left 4 dead 2 is not that good anyway played demo on pc. (most 360 games are on pc lol)
I liked Left 4 dead 1 better, maps are set at night.
Valve games work best for PC anyway (best frame rates) and free custom maps from public!
