Dead island was the game I played the most. Was even playing co-op online with another friend that was also streaming it. Played it for hours. Didn't hear any complaints from him either.
It depends on where you are in relation to the server running the game as well. It felt very playable to me. I'm sure they'll add more servers over time and smooth out the tech.
Is there any way of distracting the guards? Maybe shutting down a engine to lure them away? Airlock buttons? Would be great for variety.
I was just thinking I wish you could use their ships too. Shortly thereafter you wrote that you could steal um. Hooray :)
I really would love to be able to make even a small game. The closest I can come skill wise is LBP and that is immensely fun making things even just using their set tools. I can imagine how gratifying it would be making it from scratch.
Didn't they patch in fast travel to get to events?
Haven't played it in a while so I could be wrong. I loved it though. I was looking for things to do on the way to the event like billboards and jumps so it didn't feel like wasted time to me.

Gotta say...really liked indie month. Even without prizes there was a lot of interesting Q&A's, interviews, and a few great looking games I probably wouldn't have seen otherwise.
Plus I finally got to see what a N4G ticket looks like! :)

haven't played the remaster yet but unless they made the game massively worse (doubt it) it deserves a 10/10.
