I'm pretty sure Sony's exclusive games cost more than timed exclusive deals.

Microsoft is about dominance and monopoly. Not about competition. Windows vs OS2, Internet Explorer vs Netscape, PC vs Amiga, Mac etc. My problem is that successful MS products were inferior to the ones they killed.
Few of them can, but majority of PCs in the world can't.
Maybe Sony would make Windows Phone and support their other software today if MS didn't break their partnership by starting competing in gaming console arena. The reason Sony still make PCs for Windows is because there is no alternative. MS has to figure whether they make more money with Xbox or lose by not having a partner in hardware. It might be too late though as Apple and Google gained huge momentum in the past ten years or so.
Same here. Would've never thought of getting Warhammer 40,000, Sideway New York... If they make a sequel totally getting it.
Sony copied controller without huge battery pack obstruction underneath as well as USB charging from MS. Then they went back in time and created DS3.

Agreed about GTA IV being overhyped. Great atmosphere, great music, so-so story and gameplay that sucks. Driving, fighting, shooting in that game was just terrible. I guess it was great for someone who just wanted to be a bad-ass.

I disagree that's the same because in case of Wii U cutting the gamepad you'd lose ability to play on a handheld, while in case of X1 cutting the Kinect you wouldn't.
