Those were pretty fun! Killzone looked really good too... But honestly Sony's terrible support of the vita has really disappointed me but I got over it when I managed to sell it for more than I had paid used 3 years prior :D
I just hope they are backwards compatible... I don't mind upgrading my hardware if at least I can get rid of old console while keeping my games

I don't know that it's "obvious" but I really hope PS5 is backwards compatible day 1 purchase for me if it is.

It totally is sad!! But it makes me hopeful PS5 will be backwards compatible! I usually wait to upgrade my consoles until 2-3 yrs of library building but this way I would upgrade much sooner :). Imagine a PS5 that upgrades your PS4 games PS4 pro style and brings a whole new generation of improvements to new releases at the same time?
Seems like they are letting us know early to avoid a disappointment... I really wanted surprises too! It feels like their first parties are starting work on PS5... Which I don't mind as long as when I buy a PS5 I can still play my PS4 games!
I really want a PS5 but only if they don't make me repurchase my PS4 games in 'enhanced' versions and instead bring true backwards compatibility. Otherwise I will just move my gaming to PC. Tired of repurchasing and accumulating consoles, controllers, etc every generation.
lol I can only speak for myself but I did "finish" plenty of games on youtube on my phone because I was too tired to sit in front of the TV and die 5 times in a row 'cause I'm a lame gamer :(
God of War is perfect as it is length wise and otherwise however I do get frustrated for never finding the time to finish loads of games (including Deus Ex).
I feel like a spoiled child for saying this but as excited as I am for the already announced/upcoming games I still want more new game announcements!

I hope for a PS5 in 2019 but the pro was an experiment ... Not sure what Sony thought of it im the end? Meanwhile wouldn't be bummed if you just bought a PS4 pro and the PS5 was announced?
I don't play Nintendo games online but if I did isn't 20$ kinda cheap anyway?
The main difference is backwards compatibility... If you buy a more recent card you can run 10-20 year old games no problem and you can still play upcoming games on your old card even if it means you need to downgrade the visuals. If you buy a PS4 pro now you have zero guarantee that a PS5 won't come out in 3 years and omit backwards compatibility and cease support for older model! I have faith in Sony but... I wish they'd let us know ahead of time :P
I wouldn't mind paying 500 $ for a PS4 Pro with 4K player and 6 TB of GPU like the Xbox One X... But as it is I'll just stick with my original PS4
I did not enjoy MGS4 at all and never cared for trying any other MGS game after that. The story was a big part of what I did not like... I just couldn't make much sense out of it
I am however super curious about Death Stranding because after all these years I feel I'll finally be able to see what Kojima is all about, free of the MGS franchise!
