Days Gone is a mediocre game with a single redeeming quality: its hordes. It really dragged on the more you played, ultimately becoming very stale and repetitive.
It's akin to announcing you've hired a new director for a newly released movie - it doesn't make sense. Sure, you can create DLCs, but come on: the damage is done. Cyberpunk 2077 is pretty much unsalvageable, because its problems are profound and can't be patched out. Brain-dead A.I., little to no impact depending on your chosen background ('member this was supposed to be a big deal?), mostly boring quests, horrible loot (didn't know Night City had a dildo epidemic), s...
Seems par for the course with THQ Nordiq games. Though I'll admit I was actually excited about the game...

Churches are getting leveled left and right here so seems about right
Persona 5 lacked good pacing, so I wish P6 learns to do better.
I'd rather have a release date announcement close to release than having to wait months and face an eventual delay.
Learn to do critical shots
Not sure how not getting refunded is legal. Seems like it's not, but game industry lobbyists are doing a great job, just like with loot boxes.
That guy should be a politician. Hint: if someone can't answer clearly, it's because they're trying to obfuscate. They should know at this point how long it takes to reach max level within the game, but just don't wanna share it. People expecting this game to be a modern take on PSO with mechs will be sorely disappointed. But who am I kidding, most of the hype for this game comes from a generation that grew up with microtransactions as being the norm.
Not every game needs online. It's getting annoying.
Because Destiny has no problems whatsover. It got shat on rightfully so for blatantly lying about game features and having anemic content at launch. It took what, two expansions to "fix" the first game? And now people are seeing the same thing happen with the sequel, which Bungie hopes to "fix" with a myriad updates.
I have no doubt Anthem will be a commercial success. However, I'm inclined to think it will be a critical failure. It's EA we'...
Editor 1: Hey guys, how can we get more clicks to our website?
Editor 2: Hmm...Fallout 76 is a pretty big deal right now, why not award it a near flawless score and see how that goes?
Editor 1: Genius.

A true dream come true... for shareholders

Stating "gamers are trash" just to fan the flames reveals how much of a clickbait article this is. The problem isn't about Diablo mobile being a thing, it's about how the message was delivered and when they chose to do it. I'd also argue that giving this projet to NetEase just shows how much they don't have faith in this.
This is more widespread than just Blizzard: the whole industry is getting swallowed by the void of greed. It really feels like we're going backwards, with games in the early 2000s being more polished and content-filled than the MTX, lootbox and predatory marketing-filled games of today. Of course there are exceptions like CD Projekt RED and indies, but most if not all big publishers resort to aggressive tactics to make you pay more & more.
