Whenever devs mention X system is 10x or 5x as powerful, it doesnt always mean what you'd think it means. A system that is 10x as powerful as the previous one would in reality have twice as much real power, not 10 times.

Bluray drives have been advertised in Windows laptop commercials for a long time. MS using Bluray is a win for Sony and Bluray, they want maximum Bluray market penetration. It was never about screwing MS by not giving them Bluray, why do that when the competitor accepts your format?

Just another attempt by EA to make the game less survivor horror and more standard shooter. They already said scary games sell less, and that DS3 needs to sell 5 million to break even(which 1 and 2 never reached). So what better way than make it appeal to the COD audience

Wouldve been nice if they dropped it to 199$ and kept the hdd or even lessened it. Its been the same price for 3 years now
No thank you. We know exactly what that would entail. The PS3 costs 599$ US dollars. Please dont make that mistake again, dont bleed money for years, and create a system that is hard to develop for.
