I wish I was better at putting my thoughts into words. Killzone was impressive for looking that good as a five year-old, last gen game. Somehow I see way too many similarities in textures and graphic quality in Rogue Warrior which just came out a couple weeks ago for far more powerful machines. Unfortunately I was the only one that could have known that was what I was trying to say, and for that I apologize. So in summary, Killzone = Shining Gem of Glory, Rogue Warrior = Stinky Pile of Doody....
Is that Killzone 1 on the left or is it Rogue Warrior?
I have mine from November 06 original controller + one extra I bought for Resistance (although my 60GB PS3 got swapped for a refurbished after GTA IV raped it.) I have never had any problem with any of the three controllers I own. I think the Yahoo PS3 hate train is just spreading to various sites of Yahoo. I mean a Finance article about the PS3 and wasted batteries...it doesn't add up.
Yeah if you don't read/watch a post you should not comment. The video was good stuff, right down to the shifty eyes after the announcing of the game coming out on ten, ten, O-ten.

This is the lowest review I've seen for Madden. I mean come on, an 8.7 out of a 100. They could have at least given it a 10 out of a 100.
Completely agree with you. Nice line here though, "there weren't really any features or online games that caught people's eyes, PSN was considered failure." I don't think I'm out of line when I say that this article is considered failure.

Hard not to agree with you my friend. I lost a rank and a half overall (dropped down from almost 3 star corporal to 1 1/2 star corporal.) Also, showed my level 11 spec ops as late level 10 but upon completing one level it shows me as level 8. Then when I go back to stats I am at 10 again.
I enjoyed reading it almost as much as I did when I read it 8 days ago. Awesome...

Very interesting...But I don't agree with Watchmen correlation, at least how this article infers it.
Despite your sarcasm about David Ortiz falling prey to a MLB The Show cover jinx, he was on the cover in 2006. Ya know, the year that he hit 54 home runs to eclipse the single season Red Sox record set by Jimmie Foxx? Oh and by the way, Ryan Howard was on last years cover and his season ended with a World Series trophy. If you are a Yankees fan, I would be worried about what Pedroia/the Red Sox will do this year.
After looking at the newer filtered screenshots I was scared that this was Sega's idea of HD. But this preview confirms that the look is purely optional so I guess this game will have to be be added to my collection.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't on Microsoft or Nintendo products either my friend. His point is that no matter how the economy is people still spend plenty of money on things that they don't necessarily need.
He does make some good points, I am curious about the "special" tag he gives the game though. I loved the beta and will be picking up my copy on Tuesday but I really didn't think anything could be considered special just yet. I am more than confident that the single player campaign and full co-op mode will be great and unique but I think it was too small a sample to call it special.
It says right on the updated entry page that they are going over the entries for the next few days. Not getting one now does not equal not getting into the beta from IGN.
There isn't going to be a PS3 beta so this means nothing to PS3 owners.
It seems like in most people's eyes if it releases too early, it won't be implemented correctly and its glitchy. If it releases too late it misses a chance to compete with Natal. I don't think that these motion controllers in the end will be a significant technology for either system but it seems like it is always a lose-lose situation for Sony in the consumers eyes. I am all for waiting for something to ensure it performs better.
