the install is to offset the slower disc reading speed of the Blu-Ray drive.
your hanging out here in the comments section of a video game news site just like the rest of us. I don't think you have any room to be calling anyone here a dork.
@Dlacy13g... I disagree. We're all game nerds here. If we weren't, we wouldn't be wasting our time posting comments around here. Whether it's those gamers getting a good laugh at this silly crotch shot or those arguing about any of the other stories around here, it's all dorky if you think about it. Whether it's &quo...
The cars definitely look better in GT5, but whats up with the foliage? GT5's trees look like photo wallpaper. At least Forza has 3D rendered trees. Some other track details like the asphalt look more realistic in Forza as well.
I think Forza holds up pretty well against GT5, specially when you consider its physics, damage, and additional features. GT5 will have more graphic realism, but I think Forza will have more realistic gameplay and more features. I chalk it up to persona...
Next we'll hear that the PS3 can bring world peace. These stories are starting to make the PS3 seem more a novelty like the Roomba or the internet enabled refrigerator. Sure it sounds amazing, but it's expensive and there cheaper consoles out that don't cure cancer, but do gaming just as well.
"Next-gen" console gaming is a VERY expensive hobby. If $50/year is out of your budget, you've probably picked the wrong hobby. $50 for the premier online gaming service is a flash in the pan compared to what you're paying for a next-gen console, games, and extras.
...while gamers deal with all the delays. Maybe these robots can help developers get some of the good games out on time.
From what I've heard, GT TV offers footage of real world races, not in game races. Those are pics of real cars taken from real racing vids. They are not CGI or rendered.
...slip pics of real life cars in there with the in game shots. A lot of people don't know what Gran Turismo TV is and probably assume those are in game. Why do we need to see the pics of real world racing vids anyway. Misleading IMO.
Sometimes this site is a lot like the mall where kids congregate and act stupid. This is not a story guys. Come on. Really.
"We have seen this level of fidelity in other racing games - most notably Forza Motorsport 2 and the forthcoming Project Gotham Racing 4 - and for that reason there's a definite creeping languor about any attempt to sound excited or enthusiastic about the visuals."
The title is very misleading. Please click the "report" link at the top to report this silliness.
Ubisoft is only the publisher. They promote and distribute the game to stores. Both the 360 and PS3 versions were developed by FROM Software, a Japanese studio.
This article says it all:

"Sony, NBC strike deal: NBC is exclusive vendor for range of products and systems integration through 2009."
Sony's NAB press conference began with some taped HDTV yucks from comedian Jay Leno, but the announcement of a deal with NBC could keep Sony laughing all the way to the bank.
The pact calls for Sony to be NBC's exclusive vendor for switchers, cameras, displays, data recorders and systems integration through 2009. The agreement includes NBC's 30 R...
Another beautiful looking JRPG with a lot of potential that ends up falling short.
show that he's quickly becoming outdated and irrelevant. The years are apparently catching up to him as he apparently doesn't realize he's seeing a new face of art coming of age.
don't forget Bioshock.
say that most military gamers use Xbox Live. This must be why.
because this is the rpg of the year and it's only on Xbox360.
"After all is said and done the choice is yours but hopefully you haven’t been scarred away with all the hype of the failures surrounding the 360. The problems are being fixed and with a good price and an insane list of games I think it’s the perfect time to buy an Xbox 360."
