...it has to be Nathan Fillion. No-one else.
This is exactly the kind of RPG I've been waiting for. Bleak, serious, and puts your strategic skills to the test. The art style gives me an Oblivion-meets-Berserk vibe. I'm getting tired of the generic, baby-faced, brightly-coloured JRPGs that's coming from Japan nowadays.
Now, all we need is a true next-gen Shin Megami Tensei RPG, and I'll be satisfied.
I don't know about Infinite Undiscovery (not interested in it at all, looks like a typical output from Square-Enix),but in the case of White Knight Chronicles, there was a 2-page online article written by Nick Des Barres from 1UP. It talks in great length about the character creation mechanic, the gameplay and the story progression, based on the Japanese version of the game.
A two-page article that speaks about the single-player mode in great detail, versus four one-paragraph sni...
No offense, but your filmography gives me no confidence in your handling of this movie. So do us all a favour: shut the f**k up and start working your ass off on this film. I don't want to see another Die Hard 4.0.
I read that you can watch the broadcast on Spike's VGA site. But does anyone know if you can view the live stream if you're outside the US?
It should read "Xbox 360 tops North American teen's Xmas most wanted". Stop generalizing that all teenagers all over world want an Xbox360 when 90% of all services for this console is restricted to North America only. Maybe I'm being anal, but I don't care.
It goes on for about ten days right? So how can Microsoft have stolen Sony's crown, or whatever the hell that means, when Sony hasn't even announced their nine (was it nine?) new PS3 games? So far only 2 have been announced, Quantum Theory (which is a 3rd-person shooter, with the same bulky character models as Gears of War) and Demon Souls (which looks to be a Japan-ified Oblivion). That leaves 7 more mystery titles, with 5 more days to go.
Everyone loves assumptions. *sigh*
...please let this be true, and not a fanboy-powered wishlist.
If this is to be believed (and it ends up being true), then some development studios will have some explaining to do about the whole "we can't make our game run in 1080p" issue.
I'm looking at you, EA.
...but this looks to be one hell of a game. Solidly made, with an emphasis on balance between story, gameplay and accessibility to newbies. I'm very impressed. For once, Bandai didn't think of churning out yet another Naruto cash-in, and let CyberConnect2 develop something that's out of the ordinary.
Superb addition to the PS3 line-up, I'm looking forward to seeing this in action at a game store near me.
It's actually a bit scary to read this, it's basically saying "we'll build this game and unleash it to the world, and be prepared for the incoming sh**storm". The people at Media Molecule have got guts, and this is one hell of an experiment. At the very least, I can see this being an important teaching tool for game design students. It'll be a very intuitive way of teaching them about the importance of level design.
I wish them the best of luck. I'll be getting my copy...
Yeah, but it's still better to play Soul Calibur IV using the Dualshock 3's D-pad than the crap 360 one. Good graphics are not the only benchmark here.
Dumbass. -_-;;
What took them so long? Hindu mythology is so bloody epic, you could come out with so many huge action-adventure games that can give the FF franchise a run for its money.
An M rating, eh? Ah, that would be awesome. But this will probably be a new IP, so they'll be aiming for a T rating to be on the safe side, financially. I don't mind. As long as I can kick ass as Hanuman, sign me up!
...I'm loving the new art direction. Looks might fine to me.
Not interested in the Achievements. I don't understand why it's such a big deal.
Isn't this old news? I mean, I read on Joystiq last year that Crytek were posting up job announcements, looking for PS3 programmers or something like that. This could be what they're working on. Ever since I discovered that Crysis is playable in 3rd-person view, I'm convinced that a console version is inevitable.
Crysis in 3rd-person mode. Mmmm.... gravy.
UPDATE: Followed the link given by djroberts, and this is what I found. Based on this list of requirements, ...
...the man speaks the truth.
