Probably a very sub 60. It takes 2 - 3090's to run RD2 at its highest settings - at a native 4K to keep it from dipping below 60.
I much more prefer 1st person narrative driven games. I feel more immersed, as the action and all of the surroundings are up close and personal. Also, 1st person gives me the feeling of actually being the on-screen character, where as 3rd person feels like I'm just controlling "some other character". Lastly, 3rd person controls feel clunky by comparison to 1st person. That said, I'm not interested in unpolished POV mods.
It's gonna take them a while to fix Cyber on all platforms, and it may be completely unfixable on last gen consoles. That said, not sure how they can ever regain trust. They may never be able to finance another 8 year game, knowing that the sales wont be there next time, due to a lack of trust.
Factually speaking, MS currently, and I do stress currently, has a PR problem with the Series X.
Just remember that the "experts" once stated that mobile gaming was going to kill console gaming.
Approaching 15,000 hours on my 55" C6 curved display.
Was going for either 2 - 3080's or 3070's with the nv-link, but just found out that the 3090 will only be nv-link compatible.
No sign of a GeForce driver update yet. I have the game preloaded. Gonna test SLI on it.
Gonna pick it up and test SLI out on it.
I'm still gaming on my 55" LG C6 curved Oled, but was finally thinking of getting something new this fall. Was eyeing a Sony Oled this time due to its superior processor.
You're hired!
"Strangest" is not the word I would use. The fact that this past show was greenlit is mind boggling.
As the old saying goes, a first impression is a lasting impression. That said, the game engines used for the Halo franchise has never really been all that detailed. 343 should have just gone with Unreal 4 or Cry Engine 5.6. Either of these 2 engines would have given Infinite a more detailed, realistic look, period.
I'm getting an X, but this 30fps cinematic experience is utter crap. Not only does at least 60fps enhance the whole look of a game, but controls are more responsive when gaming in 30fps. That said, I can just pick it up for my PC.
I've been gaming on an SSD for years, and load times and draw distances never cross my mind. However, I did start to appreciate my SSD more once I compared Metro: Exodus load times on my X vs PC, and its night and day. So next gen console owners are gonna really appreciate any form of SSD.
While I own consoles, I'm mostly a PC gamer, but an odd one in that I (only) play single player games, and only first person. Except for Red Dead 2, due to the first person option. Also, I (never) use a mouse and keyboard.
I got around 1500 hours on Planet Coaster.
I slightly broke away from my PC to compare Red Dead 2 PC - 4K/60 vs 4K/30 on my X, and there's just no comparison. I can instantly see the 30fps framerate, along with feeling less responsiveness with controlling your character. 3rd person at 30fps sucks.
Retarded, but not as retarded as a Texas realtor removing the word "master" from master bedroom.
Setting aside Cyberpunk's quality, total sales for presale/day 1 were 4 million for combined consoles and also 4 million on PC.
