I think the cloud thing is just an excuse so publishers can force people to be online. As it stands right now the internet is way to slow to compute gigs of information instantaneously to millions of people around the world.

This is great news for everybody interested in the new Xbox One, but i personally wont ever trust them again after they tried to destroy console gaming as we knew it.

Ok first i don't trust big conglomerate businesses like Microsoft, especially with my personal data. Seriously its already been confirmed that MS is in bed with NSA, so why would you trust some random PR statement like that. Second if you could truly turn off Kinect then why does it need to be plugged in, hmmm? The simple fact that you cant unplug the damn thing already raises a red flag when it comes to MS's privacy policy's.
Its not about the price, its everything else that's wrong with the system.
And here MS thought that average people like us would never figure something like this out. You sir are 100% correct, that's exactly why MS left out so many countries because they have laws that protect their citizens from this kind of exploitation.

That's because all the master minds behind the Xbox 360 left Microsoft a long time ago. Now its just high level Executives running this dog and pony show.
I don't see how this would be possible without removing the mandatory installs from every game and as far as i know the Xbox One has an inferior BR drive that's incapable of playing games from the disc.
The more they defend their policies the more i distrust them.
I think i'll wait for a proper Elder Scrolls sequel.
