You can't acquire the same level of enjoyment from a game, so you pity someone who does? That's okay. I feel sorry for you, you've forgotten what playing games is about: FUN.
@Prince_Dim-Lu: I love seeing someone recklessly compare a completely different game that's irrelevant to their original argument, in hope of proving something. I may or may not disagree with your original point, but bringing in BF3 destroyed the legitimacy of your argument, and reduced you to a fanboy in my eyes.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is on the "What's Hot" list as well, and it's above MW3... Ironic? HUHUHU
Try playing the game on Hardcore...
@ShamefulDispray: Have you ever actually played dead space? You really wouldn't be saying that if you actually have. I mean, there's no guarantee you'll like it, but both Resident evil and Dead space have nothing in common aside from being 3rd person horror shooters. The enviroments are literally worlds apart, Designs are different, Stories are completely different, Monsters are completely different. I mean I can go into specifics, but it's obvious you haven't even played ...
@iamnsuperman: I agree that judgement shouldn't be passed on such a low-quality video, however they're just stating how based on the video they've just watched it feels like "x" game. It's not really biased nor necessarily a bad thing, I guess.
I think I remember Activision saying something about ending numbered Call Of Duty games, such as COD1-COD4, a while back ago. That is, of course, with the exception of MW1-3.
@iamnsuperman: How does that make anyone biased? They may just feel it looks and sounds like Black Ops regardless of the video quality. No need to get so defensive...
Maybe, you should save all judgement for a proper gameplay video. If you're judging the quality of the video itself, I completely agree. It doesn't look very good since the cameraman didn't show us more, and had to hide his camera in his pocket.
Do it! We don't want you to be a part of our network anyway.
Not free.
These "PS3 folk" hate it because they can see through the bull. Not to mention how every map pack comes out a month later for PS3 folk because they chose Sony over Microsoft.
"Last year’s Hot Pursuit felt like a much needed adrenaline injection to the franchise. Now the rains are being shifted back into the hands of EA’s Black Box studio..."
"Now the rains are being shifted back..."
"the rains"
>:C
"Microsoft is surely the clear winner in all this right or should that be PS3 owners who aren't having to pay a penny for their online service?"
Why does he compare these two groups? They really have nothing to do with each other in the article at all, other than in the introduction, to essentially get the story rolling.
I'll admit it's an interesting theory, but again the comparison between a company's potential marketing scheme an...
Even though I hate Activision and their business practices, this minor tweek and the leaked DLC image have kind of restored some of my respect for COD. I mean, I honestly thought they were going to drop Black Ops like a sack of potatoes after MW3's reveal, but I guess I was wrong. Don't misinterpret what I'm saying though, I still have close to no respect for Activision and their development teams, I just think it's pretty cool that they haven't entirely forgotten about Bl...
While I agree that it might resemble Call of Duty, you can't really say it's a futuristic COD. Also, most of those features are staples for FPS' now-a-days. It's like saying that Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat are alike, because the life bars are on the top of the screen, the super/xray bars are at the bottom, and there is a strong abundance of ninja/shoto characters in either game.
Is the PSN down again? It says it's undergoing maintenance when I try to sign on. I'm on the East Coast and it was definitely working yesterday for me.
I agree with Stern on some level, and I'll probably get disagrees for it, but I mean let's be real here for a moment. I understand and respect that people have every right to do whatever they please, but how can you not feel ridiculous going to a convention in a costume or talking to people in real life like you're in-game. Especially if you're willing to talk to a reporter or anyone that's filming you for no particular reason. I don't care if I'm the nerdiest guy ...
Not trying to be a grammar-nazi, but it's rather difficult to follow what you're saying. That's why you may have gotten some disagrees...
On topic: I've become impatient with it all as well. You may not have a date, but give us a time-frame, even if it's something as ridiculous as a month, it would give some of us a perspective as to what decisions we decide to make with our free-time. If I knew three weeks ago that it would be down this long, or longer, I...
I'm sure your source is completely unreliable, if you're being serious. At this point if Sony knew when it would be back up, they would tell us, but obviously because of how sure they want to be of the new security they have implemented they are still testing, and unsure of a date.
@deafdani: I cold be wrong, but I think TheModernKamikaze meant the opposite, implying that it's Christmas and wishingW3L should be more considerate.
