^^^ I won't say TLOU looks better than the upcoming Call of Duty just yet. But I would give it the edge in gameplay and innovation, mo-cap dogs don't do it for me.

Awesome title either way for Sony and PS3 owners.

This type of commitment to gamers is why Sony is enjoying the world wide success they have.

Microsoft is more about adverising and new markets, not that Sony hasn't dabbled in that as well, but in the end Sony always comes back to games as their foundation. (As for Microsoft we'll see if they learn the same lesson)

I think it was a very surprising move to have such a big first party title release this close to the next gen.

lol

Sad but true.

Kinect tech is overkill for hardcore games, too much based on movement.

But it's perfect for the casual market.

Hope this game does well. Always liked Insomniac, but it has been hard to keep track of this one with all the other big stories lately.

Feel like we are kicking a dead horse at this point, but if everything stays the same as it is now there is no way Sony won't have the better "gaming console" next gen.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Microsoft has a hard road ahead.

They are going to try and appeal to the casual market without alienating the core gamers that make up their foundation. Based on the first attempt they may want to tweak a few things.

Finally back to the games.

Thanks to both companies.

Guess which one I plan on buying.

Motion controls are cool every now and then but it is risky to make it your main input device.

Call me lazy but I usually don't feel like moving around when gaming.

It's not prime time because we're not going to find out much. I would love to have a big reveal tomorrow morning but I doubt it's going to happen.

Edit: I do hope they prove me wrong though.

Agreed...looking forward to trying this one out.

People do have to show some restraint and realize we only have rumors to go off of so far.

But you have to admit with the consistency, number of leaks, and employee comments out there, we probably have a good idea of what this console is going to be like.

I agree, consoles and PCs will likely be the same thing in 10 to 15 years.

Sony has been enjoying nothing but positive press since February. We'll see how the Microsoft reveal goes, but we already know how Sony's went.

Their first move was a good one.

Still have working NES, SNES, PS2, and Xbox- don't need backwards compatibility.

Don't know how we would ever find out, but I would like to know if they had to make hardware changes after the PS4 spec reveal and if that's why they've had to push back announcements.

I know lots of people have been saying that it was too late in the development cycle to make changes, but I'm still curious.
