Horrible with sequels? Are you kidding? Spiderman 2 and Evil Dead 2 are landmark cinematic achievements. Army of Darkness is really fun, and Spiderman 3 would have been fantastic without Sony's meddling (IE without venom or the symbiotes). Other than those, he's never done a sequel, so his track record is pretty stellar.

some of the geography reminds me of gaur plains, which is always nice. I do hope they branch out though. what I loved so much about XC was how the environments continued to surprise.
The faces do look a little ugly I guess, but the draw of these games is the environments and those look great.
