I saw him at GDC and talked to him for about 30 minutes. He's a great guy and gave me a lot of advice on the video game industry and how to get in. This is truly a horrible thing and the guy is definitely more then capable of getting another job. If anything he's probably over qualified for a lot of em.
First one took me just over 15 hours and I was rushing to beat a friend who was also playing it. Needless to say I lost by 5 minutes.
For those of you saying you beat it in 6-8 are probably talking about your best times and even then I doubt it.
Funny thing was that during the closing sections of the game I wished I hadn't rushed so much. I should have went back and actually played it. You know walk around more to explore every nook and cranny.
I have no idea why i'm excited, but I still kinda am. This might mark the first .hack that you can actually play with human players despite the fact it tries to emulate an mmo.
It'll be like a bunch of friends (count'm 4) meeting up and playing with imaginary friends.
The joker content was just one example that he used. Sure it might've been an attempt to gain more sales, but instead of Sony paying for the DLC on top of charging gamers to purchase the game (like Microsoft did with GTA), Sony got it and gave it to gamers for free. The same thing happened with Mirrors Edge.
The psn's open network also allows devs to play around with the infrastructure of their network supplying better online experiences in some very specific cases. Look at Killz...
Now on top of all the great games coming out this year, I have to deal with sony's motha effin MMO's coming to the ps3 too??? God why does sony feel the need to snatch away every single minute of my free time?
Is how the game will use the hand helds unique features. I'm sure sega went to the psp for a reason. They must have something up their sleeves.
The games are of a completely different nature. Although Call of Duty is known as one of the (FPS) genre's best it doesn't negate the fact that it's an over saturated market.
On the flip side, quality action games have been slowly disappearing from store shelves. Sure we've had some gems released this gen, but most of them were from last gen and the recent number of quality action titles are nowhere near the number of shooters out there. You also can't really compare the two sale...
This could be a really great thing for the psp's existing and future audience if Sony does things right.
And by right I mean making the minis section of the ps store easy to navigate so that we can find the content we want to find and number two welcome developers from all circles to freely express themselves in new and interesting ways so that we can benefit from new game play experiences at budget prices.
Another important detail is for Sony to make sure content co...

Btw: I like what you had to say Raztad. I too loved Heavenly Sword. I thought it was a cinematic work of art. Nariko became my favorite gaming heroine instantly.
In every presentation of this snowy area infinity ward has never shown anything past the snow mobile section. It's no bug, glitch, embarrassing mistake during their presentation or whatever. The presenter probably just wanted to show you can crash on the snow mobile and ended it there.
It just seems like their (IW's) way of saying "Look your controlling this thing and it's not just another shooter on rails like in past vehicle sections of our games".
Also w...
Despite my only next gen console currently being the ps3 (360 had some tray problem that gave all my games big halos on the discs and the warranty was up)I still have to display my envy towards the 360 owners whose 360's work and possibly the PC folk who will be able to play this.
Deep down i'm a monster hunter fan and I've been a fan of Capcoms since Megaman 2 on the nes and captain commando in arcades. However at the moment I feel as though Capcom are kind of putting the shaft ...
I'm happy for Sony. We all knew this was coming eventually, but I wonder how things will go when Capcom selfishly releases the wii exclusive Monster Hunter Tri? Is that the time when all the japanese will swarm to Akiba and buy a nintendo? Or will the japanese be too focused on FFXIII and hopefully Uncharted 2, Infamous, and whatever else comes down the amazing list of first party titles hitting the ps3 this year.
But yea i find it funny how the battle went recently. Nintendo rel...
Now look what you have to do as a medic is revive people regardless of what they say. Also if your being revived the first thing you need to do is sprint away. When being revived or coming out of a spawn point you have a temporary shield of invincibility.
What Guerilla should do in a patch is add the ability to instantly die and wait for a timer, or allow yourself to just sit and wait for a timer with the option of allowing a medic to heal you if they happen to come by.

When you've had too much sex then you want something else to get the blood pumping and I guess the main alternative over there are new video games.
Let's try to look at both points of view though.
Imagine this dude doing this chick every night for 2x365 days. I mean you can keep things fresh with more foreplay, toys, friends, etc, but after a while your gonna need to take a break from one another.
Let's compare them now :D
Imagine frolickin...
But i've since converted to Street Fighter ism.
I'm sorry Steve fox. Don't look at me that way. I still think your the best boxer in fighting games. I just think where tekken is a battle of who can juggle the other guy first, Street fighter is the battle of complex strategies, and timing.
not that we should ban this or ban that or even mind our own business.
What the problem here is that if you go to one extreme then decide to swap your gonna swap to the other extreme if that makes any sense.
If we were to ban this game then what else would be banned that contained rape, torture, or any sort of violence in general.
I'm not trying to defend this game about rape, but I am trying to defend our basic freedoms. If I want to draw a picture of m...
But i'm not a very punctual person, but I do, do what I say i'm gonna do. I may be late, but things happen eventually.
I'm happy that Sony are trying and incorporating stuff that none of us are paying for. They might be releasing stuff a little slow compared to the features already present on xbox live, but I say better late then never.
I just hope all the features we want are like a fine wine so when we finally get them we'll all be able to just chill and hold hand...
Killzone 2 doesn't do much to innovate the shooting genre, but what it does it does amazingly well.
In my opinion Gears 2 had the better scripted events and stronger finale, story, and buildup.
As far as gameplay went I prefer Killzone 2, which (again IMO) was better visually, technologically, and really just did a better job at incorporating scripted like events into the game play without taking control away from the player.
I think both dev teams can ...
But then again it wouldn't be the same game. Ted Price was quoted saying that Resistance 1 could have easily been done on the ps2, but it would have been a totally different game.
Nothing to really discuss here so why bother. Yes killzone2 could have been done on the 360, but no it wouldn't be the killzone 2 we all know and love (or hate).
Like everyone else suspects it's an aprils fools joke. The first image is from the fight scene towards the end against Zeus and the second image is taken from the battle with Hercules.
The images were obviously shopped to add a long life bar and rage of the titans meter/symbol symmetrically on the image.
So don't worry people. Like Santa Monica has already stated the real DLC will be something far more exciting.
