Would be great if the game didn't freeze or bug out during play. I've tried 3x times for same match in career mode only to have all three games end in some weird technical issue. Just can't get into it.

I dunno. I own a Switch and a Series S. I only have a 1080p Tv. I game nearly everyday. My bro spends hundreds if not thousands to stay on the bleeding edge of tech. I can appreciate the "experience" increase I guess. But look at what they squeeze onto switch these days. Xbox hopes they can do that with the S. I'm pretty there are more "S's" out in the wild then series X's too. That's alot of people to discount from your player base.

I really like Sunbreak so far. my biggest issue though is I played MHGU a couple of months ago waiting for Sunbreak and I think I prefer it. Even so much that I bought a WII U and MH3U! . I'm warping backwards for some reason. After watching reviews and testimonials of MH4U too I honestly think they will remaster that for the 20th anniversary which is coming up.
This game has caught me out, I honestly didn't think it would be something I'd enjoy. The asthetics are pretty average, bit more varied colour would help. But man it's fun. There is just something weirdly satisfying about it.
I'll be watching closely upto release. If the crafting, story, loot etc are as cool as the combat could be a sleeper.
As an owner of the Xbox series S, I like it. Does the job. Does it well.
What I don't get is how much hate people throw at a product that's just released.
Games that are running on ALL next GEN hardware are having issues to some degree. As I understand it NO games so far have been solely developed with NEXT GEN ecosystems in mind.

Pretty much had the same experience as the author. I tried, I really tried to like the game.
My frustration levels went beyond any I've had before, sure I can get salty at a FPS like anyone. Overwatch pushed me over the edge though. Watching players use reaper to decimate entire teams at a whim and bastion win play of the game 98% of the time broke me.

It's Crazy how everyone defends one company or another.. They're just companies using whatever tactic to get you to spend money. At the end of the day it's supposed to be a hobby not a team sport!
