And it is every bit as good as the reviews say it is, maybe better. It is definitely worth the hype and the best looking game to date on PS3. It is the first amazing game of 2009 and something really special for anyone who likes FPS games. Seriously you owe this to the FPS player inside of you to own this title.
I just played the Killzone 2 demo for the 4th time today. This game is amazing, now that I have finally played some of it I can't wait for the game. This is the first must have game of the year, no doubt about it.
The guy writing this article clearly knows nothing about history of games because one game can save a console. This guy clearly has no idea that the original xbox was single handedly saved by Halo.
Also PS3 has loads of amazing exclusives coming out this year (Heavy Rain, DC Universe online, The Agency, M.A.G, White Night Chronicles, Infamous, Uncharted 2 to name a few of them) so one game can make a huge difference but it has a lot more going for it than just that.

I hate the fact that because of morons like this I can't trust journalists any more. All this fanboyism is really ticking me off. I can understand not liking MGS4 as muck as other people, but to say it sucks, this guy should never be allowed to write anything ever again.

I could not have put it better myself. Only yesterday I commented on yet another article that was saying something negative towards PS3 and the thing that annoys me is not that people think that, it's that they make other people who are on the fence start to believe it too without ever having played the console in the first place.
PS3 is a great console and people should play it before trying to write it off.
I have a PS3, 360, WII and a High end gaming PC powerful enough to run Crysis and Farcry 2 on their highest settings. Guess what, out of all these my PS3 gets the most playtime. I am sick of people trying to rubbish the PS3. It has great exclusive games (yes, more good exclusives than 360) and better features that for me as a user trump the competition.

As I am sure people have said before this kind of thing is pathetic, but who actally looks at the user rating of metacritic anyway. I always look at the Critic average score to see if a game is good and not where loads of fanboys get to comment. I will get Killzone 2 the day it comes out and Halo Wars I might get if it's good.
If you listen to reviews they can stop you from buying a good game like Mirrors Edge got 5/10 in EDGE and I love the game, it is really good. PSM3 UK gave Star Wars Force Unleashed 59% but I thought it was great.
All I am saying is that if i was to listen to certain publications, I would have missed out on some great games.
Anyone with eyes can see that, and for once it looks like a game that will live up to the hype, so yeah I hope this sells very well everyone deserves to play a game that looks this good.
I can't believe the crap about the controller being so superior. I admit moves things on screen more smoothly but it also means that things move more slowly. I have played COD4 on both consoles and the PS3 version is better graphically and the controls are tighter and faster. I think that this game is great and so do all the people that I have spoken to, that have played it. This does not need to be compared to Mario, it needs to sell on it's own merits, because it is an amazing game. It's a completely different game to current Mario titles and it has a lot more to offer. When you play Little Big Planet it is extremely fun and addictive.
That was just a really lame looking publicity stunt. They just managed to make a really cool looking game seem really pathetic.
This game looks really nice I can't wait to play it. I saw that the video was taken from the Eurogamer Expo. I could have gone to that but I did not think it was going to be worth it, I see that i should have gone I would love to have played this game before release.
This is the game that I am looking forward to more than anything else. I loved the first one, it was just so cool. This year though I still have Resistance 2 and Gears of war 2 to keep me going until this comes out in February, both of which going to be great games as well.
I knew this game was going to be good but 9.5, thats amazing. I thought the first one was fantastic and this one looks and sounds like an improvement in every way. Resistance was one of the few games I completed more than once on PS3 and I can't wait to continue the story and go online.
This game concept is basically Dead Rising with some tweaks so not really much of an original concept but I can see why you would want to play a game like this, Dead Rising was a lot of fun.
I love how this article was written and then not far away there is another one disproving it saying that the PS3 version has a better Native Resolution. Yet this one gets more recognition, is this because there are more 360 fanboys here than actual gamers.
I bought a PSP 3000 the day they came out and I am very pleased with it. I have tried most of my games on it and I love how vibrant everything looks. I have also still got my PSP 2000 because I have got the Crisis Core Limited Edition and comparing the two, the 3000 is a lot better. The buttons feel much more solid and responsive, the rounded off edges make it slightly nicer to hold and i have not yet had any of the screen problems that people keep mentioning.
This game looks really good I can't wait till it comes out. Gameplay looks fun and the music and sounds are reminiscent of old SNES games. Looks great.
