What I find awkward is how it seems like only generation one pokémon will be in the game. Seems like a massive step back to me.
This article was pretty positive if you ask me. Didn't say Pokémon Let's Go was a bad idea, found positives and negatives. Nothing wrong with some balance.
To be fair, the author of this article is talking about it, only one I've seen though.
Clearly didn't read the article. It isn't about software, it's about hardware.
You missed the point made in the article. The NES Mini was never a long term project, it was a marketing trick to push the Nintendo brand name into the public eye before the release of the Switch. Plus rumours of the SNES Mini this Christmas are lurking about.
Disagree with this, the game is beautiful. It's an artistic masterpiece and has a personality of its own.
Sounds like you want a Zelda game without Link. It sure could work, plenty of other characters they could do a side game on. It's worked for other games, notably Super Mario Bros. and Metroid to some extent.
Amiibo is a feature Nintendo are pushing more and more seriously so I'd argue it shouldn't be dismissed entirely.
It would be better to start Gen 8 on the Switch rather than put the exact same game as Sun and Moon on it. That's the point being made.
After the success of the 80s, sure, Nintendo has been on a downward trend. It's even possible to say the SNES wasn't a success as Nintendo lost its stranglehold on the market with the rise of Sega. Sure, the N64 was heavily beaten by PS1. However, the N64 still shifted enough units to be considered a success, and I'd argue it has a bigger legacy than the PS1.
Furthermore, the N64 was up on the console before it, the Virtual Boy. If we include Virtual Boy into th...
I'm going to assume that will drop, otherwise it's another marketing folly by Nintendo.
I understand the frustration with Super Bomberman R not being on any other console, but it's one exciting title for the Nintendo Switch with very few others. The launch titles are very weak, with only Bomberman and Zelda on my list.
The expectation was a mega evolution but Pokémon seem to have stepped back from that.
I'm expecting an update that involves them both. It seems too odd that they wouldn't be in the game.
You don't have to like Pokémon to understand how Pokémon Red and Blue were so critically acclaimed. Terrible article.
