You can bet that if PSVR2's install base starts to climb (which it will) because of this, Sony will take note and start offering more support for it.
They probably didn't have much choice, releasing that full kit for less than $500 at launch was insanity. Even Quest 3, which has fewer features, costs $500.
I figured that would be the case, because those features have to be coded into the games themselves. PC VR doesn't support eye tracking, haptics, or HDR, so none of that is coded into their games.
buy the over-the-head strap for it that you can get on Amazon for like $30, it gets rid of that bridge pressure entirely.
I'm also buying a second headset now to give to my sister so we can game together.
It's sad how desperate you're getting when looking for ways to trash PlayStation... Like beyond pathetic. PSVR2's exclusives alone make it worth buying the headset, the price was the only factor holding it back from beating other headsets, and now that you no longer have that to trash it for, you just had a vein explode in your forehead and are going on one pointless rant after another.
Now PSVR2 has every VR game (and app) on PC as well as dozens of top-tier ex...
It's so good that I won't play GT on a flat screen anymore, it messes up my driving, I can't accurately judge distance the same, etc.
Except that meta quest 3 lacks HDR and eye tracking too, and costs more, with fewer games, since psvr2 can play any games quest can.
It's also possible a NMS user just decided to go by that name because they thought it was cool.
Another example of S holding things back.
agreed, PS4 Pro was only geared at pushing more pixels per frame (and HDR), not making those pixels look better in the process. PS4 Pro didn't offer much as far as increasing the actual quality of the rendering went.
No games are fully raytraced as of now, even on PC. All of them utilize a combination of raytraced and rasterized graphics, with ray tracing being used for shadows, reflections, or global illumination in the best cases, but not for the entire rendering process.
With a rumored (according to the leaks) 4x performance jump in RT performance (and a 40% boost in overall GPU performance), in addition to the added AI upscaling frame generation tech, the actual RT performance increase should be significant.
Gimme a new Warhawk and MAG while we're at it.
No. NO MORE REMAKES.
The funny thing is, I'm already right... They already have gone third party. The only thing left to do is to drop the "Xbox" brand and migrate it to Microsoft Gaming... which as a company already exists.
They haven't released a new console, or even revealed one... they've only said they are "dedicated to a roadmap" for a new console. That's a long shot from actually releasing one.
You were wrong about Xbox Series S hold...
We've only been right about it all along, as those in denial keep getting proved wrong over and over while making excuses for why they aren't wrong.
It isn't that they don't have the money, it's that they are winding the Xbox brand down and are preparing for the era of "Microsoft Gaming" as a third party entity.
WYA Obscure? Not many observations to share?

PSVR2 has more games (it can play all of Meta's plus its exclusives), more features (eye tracking, foveated rendering, haptic feedback, HDR OLED)... honestly, if someone doesn't own meta already, PSVR2 is the far better buy.
