I do find it funny that the description for this review has been altered for N4G... In the actual review the description we have here is split across a few paragraphs. But for all of us at N4G the submitter felt the need to highlight a bad part of the review and add a little bit from the last paragraph. Hooray flame bait.
And they already said that would be one of the first things that gets patched into the game after release :)
Why is this considered news??? At least once a month they bundle the PS3 with a 40in 1080p TV and throw in surround sound or something and sell it for the base price of the television.
Hmm maybe I should submit news every Tuesday when I see the ads and see that there is a PS3 or 360 package coming out on the following Sunday.

Have to agree with that... I got 101% done with the bike license over the weekend and have been done with the cars license for a long while now. I don't know if I want to go back into the game and play for another 40-60 hours to re-do everything I had already done. Really not looking forward to the fences, billboards, and jumps. I do agree with you that Lair was ridiculously underscored, and that controls were made into some gigantic issue that really should have never been. Whether it was a giant conspiracy to undershoot the PS3 against the Wii and 360 I don't know. No matter how many special effects and doo dahs they throw in the mix, it doesn't change the simple fact that it will never be anything more than 480p.
You get bubbles for that one... It was amazing look at Gamefaqs and other message boards through out sunday and seeing people freaking out they couldn't get on even though it was still the afternoon in most of the U.S. ... the beta test is meant to check these things, like server loads and whatever else will come up in the next few weeks.
More time to play and Konami will learn how to better handle server loads for the full retail release.

Has Rockstar confirmed that the PS3 won't support custom soundtracks? I mean the feature has been in previous GTA's when the hardware supported (ex. GTA on original Xbox and GTA on PSP)... just saying that there is still a sliver of hope for those getting the game on the PS3. This would obviously only apply to cars now though.
The PS3 does support custom soundtracks on a game by game basis ... SuperStarDust HD has this feature (play any music off the HDD or playlists) ... Burnout Paradise will also be adding this functionality in an upcoming patch. Not many games use it but it's there.

You all fail lol... if you have the Best Buy Reward Zone MasterCard then you only have to spend $1,500 on that per year. Doesn't matter if it's in Best Buy or not. I use the credit card and just pay it off in full every month so I get the rewardzone points... I don't know about y'all but it's pretty easy to spend $1,500 over a twelve month period!
Anyways the ad mentions that it's off the $59.99 price tag but if it's really off the $39.99 one then I'll go pick this up for $10!
