I don't know if they will actually do it, but from a cost perspective, why not? Not like the cell is ground breaking technology anymore. By the time the new consoles come out, they could use the cell as is, or a variant of it built on smaller transistor technology to provide better temperature performance, etc.
Processors only get cheaper as time goes, look at the current Intel i core processors, they only seem to get cheaper and cheaper. Not to mention the graphics cards...
Then why are people not demanding this game to be on PC?
Don't go dogging the graphics on the wii, because one could make the exact same argument about any of the consoles. Their graphics will always be inferior to those on the PC.
Take the game for what it is, a game.
Not everyone plays current gen games on PC, so naturally, these graphics will look impressive.
What? sorry I am having difficulty understanding what you are saying. I speak English, so how about we use it properly?
Is it really that bad to wonder why a machine with an awesome processor with 9 cores chokes on a game that is really designed with "lesser" hardware in mind? I mean, the game (fallout 3) only runs at 720p, so it isn't like it is breaking any ground here or anything.
One of the best games I have played, and yet, also the worst.
If you have he GOTY edition of the game and try to play it on a PS3, it will only be a matter of time before the game becomes frustrating with random crashes, and dropped frames.
Naturally, this game shines on the PC, but for all those people who live in a fantasy world where the PS3 is invincible, I recommend this game. Kinda sad to see a 'such a marvel of technology' chocking on a game th...
Last time I checked both the PS3 and 360 had graphics hardware that were comparable to nVidia's 7900 series cards...
Yes, you would be correct, nobody remembers that series of cards anymore...
You see my friend, the issue with some people is that they are not content knowing they lack intellect. They somehow feel the need to let the world know about it...
The wii does have something unique, and while it doesn't have the super high res graphics that you can ONLY GET ON A PC, it has proven it doesn't need them.
Other consoles like the PS3 have nice games, like fallout 3, however it only plays at 720p, and it is riddled with bugs, so...
I am amazed at how many people rip on the wii because of graphics, and yet forgive the PS3, and 360 for not comparing to the PC. Double standards I guess...
These images can not be faulted too much. I am not sure how the game behaves on the wii since I never played the first one. But since I am playing Fallout 3 on the PS3 and am suffering from the endless crashes, slowdowns, and frame rate issues, I can honestly say that I would much rather play the game a lower resolution (which it is already compared to the PC version) than have all the issues I am having.
Makes sense. I don't think there will be that many warranty claims on this "issue." Nintendo is doing what they should do. And despite what some would like, they don't really have to cater to those who modded their wiis.
I bought one for my parents after the price drop. Now they have a nice blu-ray player that supports wifi.
It may be because of your wireless router. Unless you have a gigabit wireless router that actually does gigabit wifi, then you will be stuck with slow speeds.
I changed mine and saw a considerable improvement on download speeds. Same is true for my PS3.
Mine worked flawlessly. As mentioned before, this could be something that only affects people with homebrew.
Are you like copying and pasting in every Nintendo announcements? how sad...
I was really looking forward to a new Zelda, so I am hoping Nintendo is saving the announcement for later...
Nice looking game, I am interested!
Now, now, MGS4 was an awesome movie! don't hate!!!!
So he is making another movie?
The article does claims nobody is buying software, yet, the numbers prove otherwise...
I bought a PS3, and I even picked up MGS4 from the bargain bin and man... so many cut scenes...
When the wii first came out, I would salivate to play Zelda every time I got home from work. In contrast, I only spent a couple of hours playing MSG4. I can't wait for GT5 to be released I am sure that game will be much more fun to play. In fact, I may even get the steering wheel if they...
Blu-Ray players are cheaper than the PS3 now, so those wanting to get into that technology don't have to buy the PS3 anymore...
I think numbers don't really matter, well, not to the consumer anyway. I think everyone who buys consoles, buys games and enjoys them wins, regardless of the platform they choose.
