I like the concept, but I have to agree with how it looks so far. The idea of having your friends jumping into the game as possible enemies is pretty nice.
I think its closer to River City Rampage. How could you not fall in love with this game.
Anyone else playing, maybe we should get some PSN id's running so we can get our multi-player on.
haha, I am just happy to see this mod turning into something more. I wonder if these guys have been working on this all along.
Good to see them getting mainstream recognition because its such a great charity.
100 Games??? Geez, that is dedicated, I wonder what percent of all games on the network that is.
TheEpicSandbox link has a trailer that shows off the game-play. Never played Bioshock 2 myself, however it seems very fast paced, and quick thinking.
The first Alice game is a classic, but I heard he had a few other titles that bombed.
While I am happy to see Alice return, and be even darker. I am not sure I have much faith in me McGee, what took so long.
Not 20 million of the MW2 map packs. 20 Million map packs across the whole franchise.
I finally took the plunge and picked this up, and I have to say it was well worth the cost.
I don't know where everyone is getting that the PS3 is catching up. Its 4 million behind, and selling less then 200k a month. At that rate, if the Xbox 360 halted production completely and pulled all stock from stores, it would take the PS3 20 months to pass the Xbox 360.
4 million is 1/9th of all of their sales over the course of what is going to be 4 years.
Just to add, the more important number to pay attention to is attachment rate, not console sales....
PS3 1,458,555 (+7%) 255,602,366 (7.09)
X360 1,443,720 (-2%) 364,365,403 (8.82)
That really sums things up. Adding 10% more units, which is what 4 million will come out to, only makes that number look worse. Brings it down to about 6.39. Each of those new units needs to attach about the same amount of games to maintain the ratio.
True, but with a 250GB Xbox 360, and 3 games, for just 300$. That's not bad at all, especially if you don't need wireless.
Play.com had a nice pre-order, but that avatar costume is hilarious
They turned down a documentary by a bunch of guys who think the company has fallen from grace ... wow there is a surprise. I think the issue of message was right on point. Rare doesn't want its employees thinking it "used to be" a good company.
As true or not as it may be, its not really the image you want to put out there, and judging by the hype they made over this with their closing etc, besmirching Rare, it doesn't seem like Rare was too wrong to deny t...
I wonder if Activision would be upset by them giving out copies of their game for free, when another game has such a major issue. Its like targeted advertising to another publishers fan base.
Half the internet gamers are now wishing they had gotten banned. L4D2 is a great title to pick up free. I'm surprised they didn't hand out something older, like TF2, which is also great, but probably cheaper.
I am guessing the system would be pretty transparent unless you were cheating. In TF2 you see the VAC enabled bar when you log into a server.
Halo: ODST and Halo Wars are the lowest selling of the franchise, and the lowest ranked by critics and users, of the series. So it seems Master Chief based Halo titles sell not only more, but rate better as well.
APM in StarCraft is the whole game unfortunately from what I get. Anyone actually playing the beta and get a different idea?
Agree 100%
At least they finally put it to bed and said they weren't releasing any maps. Very lame move, and I don't plan to play the sequel they are already working on.
