IIRC, donkey long country returns was developed on a modified prime 3 engine, & by extension, having an hd DKC game, do we not have an HD engine for retro to un-modify back for prime 4?
I'm sure game development isn't so simple, but a boy can dream.
Not saying this holds true for every gamer out there...
but I own neither 360 nor PS3 nor PC, nor do I actively play the Wii purchased some 7 years ago.
But this sounds promising.
Choices, options, none of this hurts consumers.
I have never seen so many uninformed remarks.
Kids comparing GDDR5 to ddr3 like they are the same thing.
GD = graphics dedicated
sheesh
regular ddr5 is aways off, too.
not sure if I should correct you and say they gave it a 9.1, or tell you that what ign gave it means nothing. it's just another writer's opinion.
But I'm glad you can enjoy it.
I'm just bummed that I can't spend money and get a complete game anymore.
One can only hope.
WiiU power / watt is superb.
It doesn't use more than 33 watts, whereas ps3 & 360 are somewhere around 60-66 watts.
I picked Red Steel 2 up out of the bargain bin for $9.98 at my work (toys r us).
Though I think it would be difficult to justify a $49.99 purchase when it launched, I'd say it was easily one of the greatest (among few) titles to show why motion+ was here in the first place.
Yeah, that's why they published Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge.
Try harder.
Why don't you and Michael Pachter take your crystal balls and sit over in the corner.
This console is anything but overpriced, and anything but weak.
You could say it's sort of "blah"
But the main complaints I see are that the price of entry is too steep, but then they complain that it will be overshadowed.
I don't get it.
It's being sold at a loss FFS.
Well, I'd say it looks pretty slick, now.
You had me going there, for like half a second, lol.
...I just don't think the store rep would just leave it at that.
Why would the moronic store rep suggest that?
Who in their right mind would do this?
Blame the idiot associates who don't prevent them from making that mistake.
Well, ignoring the cost of a strong pc.
And games.
And if you're ignoring that cost then you be a pirate, mate.
^people disagree with facts here on n4g, it seems.
You mean what people are buying toys for their children at toys r us?
That goes without saying.
And also at the time you have a giant wall of DS titles, and only a small display on the end of the case with 3DS titles.
All I'm saying, is people don't just "buy" hardware, it has to be acquired by an associate at most stores, which hopefully hire intelligent and knowledgeable people to work in the electronics section.
What really drives me up a wall is the blatant idiocy in the following statement
"blah blah blah $299-$349, this new hardware is so inaccessible to the public wahh wahh wahh"
pony up or shut up.
new hardware is more expensive than old hardware.
plus looking at only the console itself and complaining about a $300 price tag is well...
looking at half the entire picture.
i think just 60 frames is what they talked about at the rooster teeth panel
