you still have to pay for netflix, also you have to wait to download the movie as well. Even a SD movie can take awhile to download.

personally as an iphone user, i could never go back toa regular phone.

First, I'm not much of a cell phone kind of guy anyways, my first phone was the razor and it sucked. there are just some things i love about the iphone that i can't live without now or just really like.

1. It's simple, wheither i want to call or text it takes like 2 buttons too.

2. the text message thing is the sh!t. I hated have to read one message at a time from someone.

sry I doubt it, at least not until.....

Sony releases the PS4 or a PS3 with a 250gb HD.

ps2 games are simply just too big, The HD would fill up to fast

This just makes me think...

Why Does MS charge for xbox live,

For most games the Servers are P2P, unlike ps3 which most servers are dedicated.

And now with In-game xmb, the ps3 has really caught up to xbox-live, with making the PSN a Community.

I completely agree with you, I personally love playing games online, I rarely play single player games, except for GTA

The PS3 and Xbox 360 are so much better than the ps2 and xbox at online gaming.

Plus things like mic support, and higher player limits have become more or less standard this generation.

Lots of areas in the US still have crappy internet, I got 3mbps and it sucks but alot of areas have less.

Also i think it's 3 out of 4 of the major ISP's are starting to limit Bandwidth, too or at least testing it out.

DD will never completely take over, Tons of ppl buy music on Itunes, yet CD's are still sold in stores.

Hell even money is electronic now, but people still carry around cash.

I think people were expecting MGS4 to move like a million consoles.

However in reality, system sellers don't move many units alone, it's exclusives and great multiplatform games that sell consoles, collectively.

Never-the-less, MGS4 is a game that help justifies that $400 price tag. The timing of the release is great too, next really big game won't be until august which is Madden.

Some people see dropping the 80gb as a bad thing, I don't really know why, the new one will be the same price with a bigger harddrive.

well for example let's say,

xbl has 5 million people on in dec. and for a 1/4 of a month they couldn't log on. xbl cost like $4 a month so every person deserves a $1 back.

now considering xbl has way more than 5million people M$ should be happy he's only asking for $5mill.

AM I the only that finds it ironic that MS wants to push HD movie Downloads, yet the majority of their consoles sold are HDDless or have a mere 20gb?

The PS3 is the only system setup for both Digital Disturbution and Blu-ray.I got 300 and Superbad both in HD Saved on my ps3.

Also the problem I see with Digital Disturbution is if everyone gets setup for it, (bigger HDD's, Faster NET) is people are just going to steal movies and effectively damage it worse than no...

This isn't exactly news but it is very interesting.

It shows the sudden lack of sales of after a week of decently selling Hd-dvd titles.

This is also evidence that consumers have given up on HD-DVD

"HD DVD players and PCs have outsold Blu-ray in the US market in 2007."

Once again they don't count the ps3, which is the powerhouse of the blu-ray market share.

ps3 and blu-ray go hand in hand, as blu-ray gets more popular more people want the ps3.
As the big ps3 games start rolling out more people know about blu-ray.

I find it somewhat significant.

If blu-ray is to be the next storage format it has to be dominate in all three major catergories, movies, pc storage, and games.

hd dvd is only selling well on amazon because it's one of the few places you cant get it.

:P

I disagree that hd dvd will have a chance to catch-up
in the last two weeks alone over 1.1 million ps3's were sold.
in ther small world of the HD format, thats a sh1tload.

I see more studios going blu because of the bigger install base and superior format. 8.4 million players is too much to pass up.
